Did you know I have the best friends in the entire world?
It’s true.

The older I get, the more I realize how difficult good friends are to come by, so I am beyond blessed to have so many amazing people in my life. I always want to make sure that I’m not only cherishing the friendships I have, but also that I’m growing and making them stronger in every way possible.
With National Friendship Week coming up (the third week of August), here are three simple ways to show your friends how much you love them!
1. Make them coffee and/or breakfast in the morning.
One of the easiest ways to show someone you care is by way of their stomach right?
My best friend Jessi often makes coffee for my roommates and I, and it never ceases to make me feel special and loved first thing in the morning.

2. Brag about them.
In the age of social media, why wouldn’t you brag about your amazing friends? My friends and I are proud of the people we surround ourselves with, and we want the world to know how great they are too.

3. Get them a gift.
There is something particularly special about receiving a gift from a friend just because they care. Like a few weeks ago, for example, when Jessi got ME flowers on HER birthday. Haha!

So the other day I surprised her with a box of Merci Chocolates, just because.

I’ve shared Merci Chocolates with Jessi last time I was sent a box, and I knew she really liked them. Something like a box of decadent chocolates is always a good gift to share with friends because it can be enjoyed together for days/weeks at a time. And like I said before – what better way to show someone you love them than by way of a delicious treat?

Surprise them with a special gift.
I love to bake, so making them their favorite treats is a fun way to show appreciation.
I try to do something for that person to let them know I thinking about THEM… So make it individualized
P.S. i heard somewhere that it does more for the psychological well being of the giver to do small acts of kindness.
Double incentive to give.
