That time I asked Siri where a Reid’s grocery store was, and she replied…

When in Georgia…

(Yes, we drove to Florida so we could bring a bunch of Katie’s stuff. It’s been…interesting.)

When you run out of ways to stay occupied on a road trip.

Psalm 142:3.

Do you enjoy road trips? What is your state famous/known for?

I love road trips. I’m actually taking one to Connecticut on Monday to visit my sister! Yay! :) I love being able to sit for a long period of time and just think, chat or do whatever. It’s so fun to get roadside snacks and to stop here and there and make some fun memories. I’m from Michigan and we are known for our Great Lakes! :)

Aren’t selfies, in a way, un-Christian? They’re the very picture, so to speak, of narcissism. And what’s with the tilted head, deer-in-headlights, pout-mouth look in each one?

  • Hey Jake,

As someone who blogs about my life, selfies kind of come with the territory. You can call that narcissism or being un-Christian if you like, however I’m neither of those things.

tilted head - didn’t realize I was doing that. Good observation.

Deer in headlights - guess that’s just how my face looks.

Pout-mouth - the purpose of the selfie was to show my boredom during the road trip. Therefore, I was pouting.

Hope that helps answer your questions! Have a good one.

  • First of all, you handled and responded to the above comment perfectly.

Second, enjoy your road trip! I love them although they never, ever seem to go as planned. I suppose that’s half of the fun though!

  • I like your pictures, you totally don’t look like a deer in the headlights, my goodness! I can’t believe that person said that! You have lovely eyes! Not to mention, the pictures you post are always you being funny and stuff, it’s not “Hey, look how gorgeous I am”, so there is nothing narcissistic about it. Poo on him! Have a great trip!

  • Fall in Georgia looks lovely. I’ve been meaning to make pumpkin butter for awhile actually.
