When it comes to fashion and my personal style, I am a shoes girl through and through. I think there’s nothing better than a good shoe to take an outfit from so-so to whoa. Okay, that was so cheesy, but you know it’s true!

Fall is definitely my favorite season when it comes to shoes because the styles are endless –- you can wear stilettos, to flats, to boots –- and everything in between. I always find myself on the hunt for stylish shoes when a new season rolls around, which is why I was so excited when Clarks shoes (courtesy of Zappos) offered to send me a couple of pairs to try out!

The shoes I received are the Charlie Cap oxford shoes (in black suede) and the Mojita Crush boots in black.

I was actually looking for a pair of oxford shoes, but I couldn’t find the right style. The Charlie Cap is exactly what I was looking for -– simple and comfortable but much more stylish than most flats. They look great with a pair of skinny jeans with a T-shirt and blazer, for a perfect go-to daytime fall look.

The Mojita Crush boots are also exactly what I was looking for to add to my shoe collection. I love tall riding boots, and these have the addition of a suede + leather mix, which is really trendy right now. The boots look great over leggings or tights, paired with a long sweater or sweater dress.

Not only do my new new Clarks shoes fit my personal style, but they’re also comfortable, and I can tell they are great quality. That’s especially important to me because I live in New York City and walk at least a few miles each day. Looking stylish is definitely important, but I also I don’t want to be worried that my shoes are going to wear out or cause my feet to start hurting.

I must say that I was very much pleasantly surprised with my new Clarks shoes! I wasn’t entirely familiar with the brand, but the entire shoe collection was much more stylish and in line with trends than I would have expected.
