I certainly agree that you can tell a lot about people by their ringtones. You can tell who is either too lazy or technologically challenged/inept (depending on how politically correct/ bluntly honest you are trying to be).
When my students’ phones ring in class (accidentally they swear) I am amazed at the variety of tones, and the creativity some people have. Sadly, as my musical tastes are so far from my students, I am rarely impressed by what they have chosen. However, sometimes I am completely blown away.
