    I asked a guy out. I’m older and have never done so in my life! Although he didn’t accept, I learned that I can, in fact, ask a guy out and not die of embarrassment!

    I’m trying to go on a 15 month internship. Need to raise all the funds to go, to do so. The most recent risk I took was to order some cards, and go around to the neighbors trying to sell them. Many weren’t home (so I will be needing to go out again), but I did meet some neighbors, and it was fun. I learned that we have some nice neighbors. I was quite nervous, but I sold some cards and had a few fun chats. Certainly worth the risk.

    Also, thought I would share this, which was in the last fortune cookie I had: “Take Calculated risks. It is quite different from being rash.” Thought it fit with this post.
