pluggz shoes review.

Living in New York City, I walk a lot. Like, a lot a lot.

And, needless to say, walking in my paper-thin sandals and 5 1/2 inch heels don’t exactly leave my feet loving me.

That’s why I was so excited when fellow New York blogger Jocelyn from Peace Love Nutrition reached out and asked if I’d like to try Pluggz – a line of stylish flats that are also comfortable and actually good for your feet and body.

After browsing the different styles, I chose the Black Suede Loafers.

The secret behind pluggz is Earthing (also known as Grounding). According to the Pluggz website, Earthing takes place when we’re barefoot and absorb earth’s energy into our bodies in the form of electrons.

Also from the website, “each pair of [Pluggz] ballet flats, loafers and flip flops contains black plugs made from a proprietary carbon and rubber compound. These are comfortably crafted in to the soles to ensure electrical contact between us and the Earth and enable the flow of healthful electrons in to our bodies when we walk on grass, soil, soil - even concrete sidewalks.”

The result? After wearing pluggz for a while, you may start to feel more energized, more balanced, fewer aches and pains, less stress, and even happier.

I’ve only worn my Pluggz a couple of times, so I haven’t any of those results just yet, but I can definitely say that they are some of the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever worn. I must admit I’ve gotten to the point of believing that shoes are just always going to hurt my feet after walking for a prolonged period of time, but not with Pluggz.

Not to mention that they’re actually cute shoes! Because - let’s be real - comfortable shoes are not often on the top of the stylish chain. But these loafers look great with skinny jeans, and even (the last of my summer) dresses.

What are your go-to comfortable shoes?
