Living in my itty bitty New York apartment means I have to keep cookware and home goods at a minimum because…well, there’s only so many places to store them. The trick around it? Get pieces that are useful yet cute enough to have out on display.

And - outside of the kitchen - another great find from Pier 1 is this jewelry stand I got for Christmas. It organizes my jewelry while still adding to the décor of my bedroom.

I love such small additions can make such a difference to this little home of mine and aren’t just for display. Perfect timing, since I just happen to be hosting a girls’ dinner in tonight
