With about a month of summer still left, I think I can safely say I got my final fix of the best things this season has to offer.
I’m pretty sure I’ll be spending the holiday weekend in the city, so I made sure to soak in every last minute of my family vacation at the shore.

How ’bout them views?

A dinner/shopping date in Stone Harbor with my mom and sister seemed like a fitting way to spend my last night.
(…although, when is shopping not a good idea?)

And a lump crabmeat salad seemed like a fitting meal to finish out the season. It was.

Today I’m en route back to New York, listening to a fitting song…

So this is goodbye, summer.
Okay, okay…maybe I’m a little ahead of the game. I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t thrilled for my favorite season – autumn!
How have you been wrapping up summer? What’s your favorite season?

Yayyy Stone Harbor! So much cuter than Ocean City haha. The salad- Yvette’s? (I’m a creep.)
haha nope - where’s Yvette’s?? guess it will have to go on my to-do list for next summer
i’ve been wrapping it up by pulling out the fall clothes.. i love love LOVE sweater weather so i can’t wait!!!
I love summer sunsets!! I know they happen all year round but they always seem so much prettier this time of year
Autumn is my favorite, too! GMTA!
I’ve been having a ton of iced passion tea at Starbs, but I’m definitely excited to start my fall mornings with a cup of hot chai!!
Those pictures look beautiful! Sounds like you had a wonderful time at the shore but I’m sure it will be great to be back in the city! I’m so excited for this next month because it will be finally be summer in SF! Yay!
That salad looks ridiculously tasty.
I’ve been ending summer by prepping for my move and the beginning of grad school - which means spending a lot of free time with my friends and family before that free time is gone.
Fall is by far my favorite season as well!
fall is my favorite, hands down. i LOVE being able to wear boots & sweaters & sweatshirts and still be able to be outside.. plus, the leaves changing colors in the mountains of WV … well, nothing is prettier.
I’m definitely ready for fall … football season, pumpkin spice lattes, and slightly cooler weather. But I’ve also been enjoying the last of summer by grilling out and spending plenty of time on our porch!
Aww…what gorgeous pictures.
My favorite season is summer, by far, and I’m not ready to see it go. Although- pumpkin and oversized sweaters have definitely been calling my name recently. <3
sounds like an amazing weekend!
