short & sweet.

It’s that time again.

the time where I need to be on the “back to work” ball but reeeeally want to squeeze a blog post in. So here’s a short&sweet recap of my weekend.

First up - a quick visit to Smorgasburg for a breakfast of Grady’s Cold Brew iced coffee and a Krumville Bake Shop cookie.

…followed shortly after by lunch at The Meatball Shop. I can’t NOT visit Williamsburg without going here.

Then…back to Manhattan for a baby shower, free The Kills concert (hosted by Converse), and more random adventures.

Sunday was pretty low-key.

…and by low-key I mean Jessi and I literally sat on couch and watched movies all day.

Since we sat on our butts all day we decided it wouldn’t hurt to walk to and from Liberty Church. And then, what better way to end the weekend then by being back on the couch with a massive cupcake?

Tell me the best part of your weekend!

I love all those movies from the 80’s — all sexual politics and just ridiculous shoulder pads.

Plus - tell me more about this place called The Meatball Shop!!!

I’m not going to lie… I really want to move to New York for Crumbs cupcakes. Everytime you post one, I get SO jealous. UGH, you’re so lucky lol.

Oh yes, it’s always hard to get back into the work week when blogging sounds more appealing! That looks like a great weekend and I’m seriously coveting that Crumbs cupcake! How fun that you got to go to a free concert too!

Looks like the perfect weekend to me! You can never go wrong with movies and free concerts.
I spent my weekend at home, visiting my family. It was very low-key which was exactly what I needed. <3

That cup cake is making me salivate.

My best friends mom owns a cookie shop that she recently openined in December 2010. These cookies are uh-mazing, and I ate bits and pieces of some of my favorites this weekend!

These cookies are to die for. A lady actually traveled all the way from Chicago to Cincinnati to try them this past weekend. Pretty cool!
