  • ohh my lord. terrifying > cute, no?

  • I’ve seen these previews! I can’t believe they actually have a TV show like this. Sometimes TLC is just too much for me…hahaha

  • This is just ridiculous. I’m so glad that 1) I’m having a boy and 2) I don’t have cable tv to get sucked into watching nonsense like this.

Oh good lord. I can not take this show. Every time I see this show it makes me question what possessed someone to make this into a show…

I spent my first 23 of 25 years in South Georgia, and I can proudly say that 99.9% of the people in rural Georgia do NOT act like this family. There are some who do (some people live to be called a redneck. Why? I’m not sure), but they’re not exploiting themselves for fame and the almighty dollar. I am all for people being themselves, but this family will forever be known for their bodily functions and lack of a filter. I have to admit that I did get sucked into watching an episode. It’s a train wreck, y’all…I couldn’t look away! On behalf of everyone who lives or has lived in South Georgia, I apologize for this show. Georgia actually has some beautiful areas, and contrary to what the show tells, there are places to shop other than Piggly Wiggly.

    • I’ve actually never seen an episode of this show – my friend sent me the video the other day and I died at how hilarious this little girl is! I can definitely relate in a sense, though, because I grew up going to the Jersey Shore for the summer. But the shore I went to was NOTHING like what people think of when they hear “Jersey Shore” – it was a quaint, family-oriented historical landmark town! So I hear ya ;) But yeah…I never thought this shed a bad light on all of Georgia – I’ve actually only ever heard great things about Georgia :)

  • All I can say is… I am SO glad I don’t nanny any kids like this! I’d be running for the hills haha
