I’ve seen these previews! I can’t believe they actually have a TV show like this. Sometimes TLC is just too much for me…hahaha

Oh good lord. I can not take this show. Every time I see this show it makes me question what possessed someone to make this into a show…

I spent my first 23 of 25 years in South Georgia, and I can proudly say that 99.9% of the people in rural Georgia do NOT act like this family. There are some who do (some people live to be called a redneck. Why? I’m not sure), but they’re not exploiting themselves for fame and the almighty dollar. I am all for people being themselves, but this family will forever be known for their bodily functions and lack of a filter. I have to admit that I did get sucked into watching an episode. It’s a train wreck, y’all…I couldn’t look away! On behalf of everyone who lives or has lived in South Georgia, I apologize for this show. Georgia actually has some beautiful areas, and contrary to what the show tells, there are places to shop other than Piggly Wiggly.

I’ve actually never seen an episode of this show - my friend sent me the video the other day and I died at how hilarious this little girl is! I can definitely relate in a sense, though, because I grew up going to the Jersey Shore for the summer. But the shore I went to was NOTHING like what people think of when they hear “Jersey Shore” - it was a quaint, family-oriented historical landmark town! So I hear ya 😉 But yeah…I never thought this shed a bad light on all of Georgia - I’ve actually only ever heard great things about Georgia :)
