Ever hear of the movie Julie and Julia? Of course you have.
Well, in case you haven’t, the movie was inspired by a real-life blogger turned author who cooked her way through Julia Child’s famous Mastering the Art of French Cooking cookbook. And I think that’s a pretty rad idea.
So in an effort to get my baking shoes back on, here’s my new zero rules totally informal who-knows-if-I’ll-even-finish-it project of baking through 101 Gourmet Cookies for Everyone by Wendy Paul, conveniently found in the recipe book section of Barnes & Noble.
I mean, who doesn’t love cookies? Hopefully all of my friends do because I’m pretty much going to be shoving them down their throats for the next year(+). You’ve been warned.
I’m not even going to attempt to bake every day – more like once a week (I’m such a rebel). So stay tuned, cookie monsters.
Have you ever cooked/baked your way through a cookbook?
If you did, which kind would you choose?

Gracie that is an awesome idea!!!!!!!!
I love this!!
You can totally send some cookies my way. I’ll make that sacrifice…
This is such a fun idea. Inspiring, I might try something similar
