Coffee and snacks to fuel me through work this week: about $30.

Being able to work alongside my best friend for 3 out of 5 days this week: priceless.

Frozen yogurt from Strawberry Fields: $4.64.

Being able to eat froyo outside because it was 60 degrees in February: priceless.

Finishing the Freely Be necklaces ordered a few weeks ago: hours upon hours.

Knowing that each necklace is one-of-a-kind and will be worn by someone amazing: priceless.

Finding old pictures from when my parents were younger: some time spent digging through the basement.

Realizing more than ever how much I’m my mother’s daughter: priceless.

The month of February: pretty draining in a few different ways.

The fact that March is going to kick February’s butt, starting early by a fun weekend ahead: priceless.

What are your plans for the weekend? And did you get a spring-like day this week too?

  • February has been draining for me too. Thanks for reminding me that March is just around the corner…whether it comes in like a lion or a lamb, I will welcome it with open arms!

  • I have my friend’s birthday party tonight. Saturday is chill. And then Sundays-Oscars Party!!!

    I’m vising NYC this weekend. Pretty excited. I’m in upstate NY right now, visiting my best friend. Although I’m originally from NC. Back home it was 73 today, its in the 30s here. I hate I missed the warm weather. BUT I wouldn’t trade this time for the world!

  • Froyo is good anytime, any where, any weather.

  • My weekend is going to be EPIC! I’m going to…

    ~~~wait for it~~~
    -SLEEP Saturday morning/afternoon away (I work overnights)
    -grocery shop at some point
    -call my Grandma on Sunday for our weekly chat
    -pummel this sickness from my body using various OTC meds, lots of fluids and sleep!
    Like I said, epic. :)
  • February has been so draining for me too. But, it’s all worth it. I’d rather be busy than bored. (:
    It sounds like you’re accomplishing so much- especially with all of the Freely Be stuff. That’s so amazing and inspiring!
    This weekend I’m relaxing (finally!) I was filming all week and had 6:30 AM call times at a location that was an hour drive from me. I was up at 4 AM every day and didn’t get home until after 8. So exhausting but SO much fun. Thank goodness for coffee!
    Can you do a post about how to go about moving to New York? I visited this past week and fell in love. All the different types of apartments (fees, no fees), what you should know before you make the leap, and how to actually do the move (do you bring a uhaul down?)… So many questions!
    Love your blog. You have inspired me to be more adventurous and less “safe” for sure.
    • Hey Jess! I actually get a lot of emails with questions about moving/living in NYC, so doing a few posts about that is a really great idea. Thanks for the suggestion…will try to put some together over the next few weeks! :)
  • Love the picture of your mom! She is beautiful!
  • I have been LOVING Springuary!!! But yesterday we woke up to wind and snow [although nothing stuck]… This weekend was absolutely fabulous, I said YES to THE dress :D
