I revealed some of my not-so-guilty pleasures the other day.
But, since honesty is the best policy, I think it’s important to share a guilty – very guilty - pleasure of mine.
Ali the Bachelorette and even Jake the Bachelor…NSG. But this dude? I think the above picture says it all. And it has nothing to do with his previous stint on the show (am I the only one that thinks he did the right thing by turning both girls down at the end?). There’s just something about this particular season that is so painfully amazing to watch.
I can’t bring myself to change the channel. Or stop planning my entire Monday ensuring that I’ll be home by 8pm to tune in. It’s a problem, I know.
Please tell me I’m not alone.

Omg I LOVE IT!! How about all that drama? And Vampire girl? ewww!! I think she’s there just for some publicity! She’s so not in to him! And I AGREE with you, I totally think he did the right thing by not picking either one!

Oh man, I feel the same way!! I even wrote a paper in college on how bad the Bachelor/Bachelorette shows are and I STILL watch them… What’s worse is I even made my poor boyfriend watch them with me last night… whoops!

I understand completely what you are talking about! I am absolutely hooked to the Bachelor/Bachelorette shows! I have watched several seasons, and each season just keeps sucking me in more.
Girl your not alone. But I am at the gym while watching this guilty pleasure so no one will know how much I watch and follow the bachelor… AWH :S
I love the Bachelor. I am a big fan of the show. I’ve followed along for several years. I like reading Reality Steve’s blog because he spoils the entire season before it starts. It’s funny to compare what he says to what actually happens on the show. If you want to be surprised, don’t read it but if you care to know some spoilers definitely check it out
I haven’t kept up on the Bachelor in years, but this season I’m watching. This guy is HOT! Holy moly. And why the heck is it so wrong to break up before not stringing them into a false engagement. I’m totally okay with it.

THANK YOU!! I have been wondering what the big deal is. So he left two girls at the altar. It was that or A. lead a girl on even longer then break up later or B. get married to someone he doesn’t love.
I’m not sure what the fuss is about. He didn’t love them. So what? It’s a TV show. As evidenced by the fact that only one or two of the past relationships still exist, strong bonds aren’t made that way.
Seriously!! I didn’t watch his previous season, but for a while I seriously thought I was missing an entire piece of the puzzle. The outrage over him simply being honest about his feelings was over the top.
I agree that he did the right thing by not choicing either of the girls. He saved the girls a lot of heartache down the rode. At least he was straight and honest with them. He made a tough choice.
And I think this guy is HOT as well! YUM!
I have never watched the Bachelor! I pretty sure I am the odd one out though-because I always hear people talking about it!
I watched the first episode last week, but couldn’t watch the episode late night cause of the BCS Championship game. I have always like the bachelor, but I always watch the first episode and forget to watch it again!

I think he did the right thing by turning down both girls if he didn’t love either of them, but I don’t really think ABC should have used him again for the bachelor — however, I’m still watching, ha. I think Emily is my favorite girl so far but there is a dark haired gal I like too but forget her name.

ABC got me to start watching again. They are smart. It is a good thing he turned DeAnna down I never liked her. Am I the only one?
She kinda bugs me too. And she chose (I forget his name..), the snowboard guy, only for the cameras and then broke his heart. Pretty low…
I love this show! Every year I say I am going to stop watching but I always come back. I’m not a huge Brad fan but the girls are so crazy this season I can’t help but watch.
Big shout out to the editors of this show! They are genius!

Oh, so not alone!
I cannot stop myself from turning on the tv and then I remained glued… even through the fake drama, the horrible outfits (seriously, can’t the show provide a stylist for these girls? please?!), EVERYTHING.
I believe it was mentioned that there have been 21 seasons of the Bachelor and Bachelorette so I googled, and apparently I’ve watched all but 2 seasons. No wonder I dislike red roses 😉

hahaha, yeah that dress was just a tad over the top. And when I say tad, I actually mean ridiculously.
Ok, what about the outfits the girls wore to the PSA shoot? I was dying over the one “dress”, which I thought was a shirt, with really bad fabric placement over the chest area, but no, it’s was the shortest dress ever.
Do you think they take out the cute outfits from their suitcases? They can’t all be that badly dressed? right?!
I watched it last night, after seeing it on The Soup, the girls are crazy! I don’t blame him at all for not picking a girl on the first one.
Everyone is expected to find their “perfect” match in just a few weeks and while being publicly filmed. It’s ridiculous! While some people have managed it, and found true love (enter Trista and Ryan), it’s just not feasible or realistic that EVERY ONE of the bachelors and bachelorettes would. I’m proud that he didn’t just propose because it was expected of him. He saved future heartache and stayed true to himself. 5 stars in my book
NOT alone at all! I love love love that show and watched it last night! I thought Melissa and big booby girl both deserved to be kicked off. Not to say that they are evil, but he deserves someone who is not snooty and causing trouble on somwhting liek this!
Also what did you think about the vampire girl? I couldnt help but feel awful when she was crying at the end! I mean I think she is cute-ish! She had cute style besides the teeth but she can’t help it.

Agreed. Yesterday was my long day at school and I didn’t have time to watch it when I got home, but as soon I as I got home today, there it was, ready to watch on the DVR. This guy seems sincere. Although, I had always been pulling for Jake and look how he turned out…

TOTALLY AGREE! Why are they being SO hard on him? Would it be better for him to propose and then dump her two months later? Not sure if I had missed something.
I did not watch last night. Not sure if i am going to watch. I need to stop watching reality television…..my goal for 2011. instead I read….see how long that lasts!!
