first time for everything.

For the first time…I was successfully April Fooled.

(Jessi and I clearly have a very loving relationship, ha.)

For the first time…I realized my Seamless habit may not be as glamorous as I once thought. My meals may be delicious (and even healthy), but my bank account hates me.

For the first time…I learned that I may not be allergic to all action/suspense movies like I once thought. Olympus Has Fallen…great/crazy movie.

For the first time…I got a high score on an arcade game (or on anything, for that matter). If you look closely, though, someone is about to enter my winning name as “butt.” Real mature ;)

For the first time…I ate oysters. I can’t believe it’s taken me so long to enjoy something oh so good.

For the first time ever…I’m going to LA! I booked my flights last night for a visit later this month. This Northeast girl has never been to California, so I can’t wait :)

What’s the last thing you did for the first time?
Seen any good movies lately?

You’ve never been to California??? That sounds crazy to me… Although I’ve lived here all my life. I noticed you love sweets and definitely think you should check out the Crumbs Bakery in Beverly Hills. (There’s one in Hollywood too, but my girlfriends and I LOVE the Beverly Hills location 10 times more)

I’m convinced that living in a big city (and being as busy as we are) is to blame for eating out so often. It’s just so much more convenient than buying food and having it expire before I get to eat it! Plus, in cities like LA and NYC the options on endless. I’ve definitely been trying to cut back though, for my bank accounts sake…

And that’s SO exciting that you’re coming to LA!! I can’t believe you’ve never been here. You’re going to love it. <3

You are going to love Cali! I lived in LA this summer, Manhattan Beach. It was the best summer of my life. LA is an interesting city, that’s for sure. Make sure you spend some time in Silver Lake and go to El Siete Mares and have some delicious fish tacos. Check out the art galleries on Melrose. 1988 always has some really awesome pop culture exhibit going on. Basically, do all the things! CA is a beautiful state!

Awesome you’re coming to LA! I live in Hollywood so holler if you need any suggestions! I’ve been reading your blog for well over a year so if you have a blogger/friend meet-up, I’m there, ha.

Last thing I did for the first time… Went to France last month!

I went to LA last year and it was awesome! First time there as well. California is so nice. Be sure to pack the shorts! I’m so used to living on the west coast, it surprises me when no one has been over here. Granted, the furthest East I’ve gone is Michigan so it’s the same situation really. Awesome post. Yummm oysters and I greatly want to see that movie.

I’m going to California for the first time later this month as well! I’m from New York and have always wanted to visit Cali. My mom was born there. I am flying into LA. I hope you have a wonderful experience :)
