This past weekend I paid my first visit to my new favorite place. Montauk.
On Friday afternoon Jessi, Patti, Sara and I hopped into a rented convertible with our playlists ready and luggage in tow.
A few hours later we arrived out east and kicked off the weekend with a delicious dinner of Oreo ice cream cake.
We actually slept at Sara’s house in East Hampton, but the majority of the weekend looked a little bit like…
Jessi and I made it home by midnight on Sunday with a little help from some old friends.
…because there’s no better place to be nostalgic than in a convertible at night. Trust me.
The girls and I are heading back out on Friday to spend a long weekend celebrating Jessi’s birthday, and it can’t come soon enough. Until then, it’s back to a busy work week for me!
What’s your favorite beach getaway?
Looks like you guys had a great time!! My husband and I went to Marco Island, Florida this past December, and that was definitely a great beach getaway. But I still think Sarasota (where I’m from) has the best beaches! 😉

My favorite beach getaway has got to be Italy, the beaches are perfect and small, too bad I don’t get to go there as often as I’d like!
