girlie, girlier, girliest.

If the name of my blog didn’t already give it away, you should know that I tend to be quite the girlie girl.

Cute animals, romantic quotes, the words “snuggle” and “cupcake”…I love it all.

Life lately hasn’t been incredibly eventful, but it has included some (arguably obnoxiously) girlie highlights.

Case and point – mirror shots happened.

A Reese Witherspoon movie happened.

A pedicure whilst eating ice cream happened.

…followed by diving into some gossip magazines and swooning after this guy.

You know, I used to try to downplay my girliness. I thought it made me seem immature or that people wouldn’t take me seriously. But as I get older and more confident in the woman I’m becoming, I’ve learned that this is who I am. These are the things I love. And I’m going to own that.

…now pardon me while I bake a cookie recipe I found on Pinterest, will you?

Would you consider yourself a girlie or “typical” girl? In what ways?

i like to think of myself as a girlie girl with some wits, strength, and sass and who can hold their own. I love doing girlie things, high heels, pedicures, baking, crafting, you name it i do it, but i also like going shooting, riding fourwheelers, etc.

I’m definitely not a girly girl. Give me a beer, steak, and a Lakers game (ahem, cali girl here) over a salad, white wine and chick flick any day 😉 not that there’s anything wrong with girliness, obviously, I just always seem to like “guy” stuff! …except high heels and makeup. can’t live without that now, can we?

I’m a total girly girl too and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I feel like some people have a misconception that if you are girly, you aren’t serious or intelligent. I used to worry people would think that way about me, but once I stopped worrying about it, I noticed that it never happened anymore. Loving who you are is the most important thing! Now, excuse me why I go paint my nails and watch The Bachelorette :)

I didn’t know you could have pedis while eating ice cream! You learn something new everyday. Cute outfit in your instagram pic. I can’t wait to get that app if I get a new phone.
I’m not a ‘typical’ girl, but I’m a romantic for sure. I didn’t used to do this, but I’ve recently realised how sentimental I am!

    I think I have a pretty girlie core. I’m laughing after reading this because I definitely just used the words “snuggle” & “chick flick” in my last post. {just watched Water for Elephants last night - hubby boycotted}
Props for the mirror pic- that’s the cutest outfit & you’re more than doing it justice. It would be a shame to not share it with the world!

I’m honestly not that girly at all. I try to love the colour pink and shopping and doing my hair, but when it comes down to it, I’m most comfortable in my yoga pants and my hair up in a ponytail. Not to say I don’t love getting dolled up on occasion, but not just for day to day life.

Buut I do love reading gossip magazine and eating fro-yo. That’s about as girlie as I get 😉

LOVE girlie things… I’m trying to be more-so!! I just got the cutest coral kate spade bag… that counts, right?? :)

Umm.. I KNOW you must get this question all the time, but what are you using for your pictures to edit them?? And for the text?? I LOVE IT :)

Hey Angie! Some of my photos are edited via Instagram, and the others I edit in Windows Live Writer (which I use to write all of my blog posts) :)
