I can do without fancy jewelry.
With the exception of a few Tiffany pieces from my teenage years, most of my jewelry is of the costume form. Diamond necklaces and the like are certainly beautiful, but I guess they just don’t get me as excited as they do the next girl.
…but then there are watches.
I think I’ve developed a slight obsession with them. In other words, I’m rendered completely useless when I walk by the watch stand in department stores.
And I can’t see someone wearing a nice watch without saying something/wanting to be their BFF Jill.
So the other night, when I saw a girl wearing the watch I’ve been drooling over for a few days, I knew I had to just take the plunge and get it.
Thankfully, Mr. Kors’ watches are on the more affordable side, so it wasn’t an entirely ridiculous purchase. And, I mean, everyone needs a watch in silver and gold, right???

This might be weird, but I wear watches as accessories and don’t look at them for the time. In fact, my watch (a yellow vintagey looking one from a boutique) isn’t even set to the right time! I use my cell phone. Haha. I love your watches!
Cute! I just bought a MK watch — oversized in rose gold — and I LOVE it! So hot. Otherwise, my day-to-day watch is usually a silver ESQ.
hahah, I love watches. I used to never wear them but just recently I’ve gotten into it. Now I can’t imagine not wearing one! How do other people tell what time it is?! lol

I love watches too. But for some reason I don’t wear them; I just stare at them. MK has the best watches though, I’ve had my eye on a black one for months.
I wish that I loved watches because I think they look so cute on other people, but I am just never drawn to them.
I haven’t worn a watch since the eight grade when I had this crazy plastic sparkly flower-shaped thaaaang that was the love of my life. These days I’m more into accessorizing with necklaces and earrings, but your new watch is gorge!

I don’t wear a watch, but I think on a weekly basis that I need to buy one. I usually just carry my phone around, but I feel like it’s ruder to check the time on my phone than it would be to look at my watch when I’m with other people. I need one for the Bar Exam this summer anyway, so I guess I’m going shopping, ha!

Honestly, I think I can count the times I have worn a watch in the past year on one hand..
And the watch I have always causes confusion since it’s one of those Norwegian Design things without any numbers or hands…

I feel naked without my watch on! And fancy jewelry is nice…but you will most likely see me wearing my watch and maybe a simple necklace or stud earrings

I love watches - I feel so naked without mine! It’s not quite as beautiful as yours but I love my silver and gold mixed Fossil.
Love that watch! I tend to get costume jewelry from place like F21 - I always end up losing jewelry and would be heart broken if I lost something that was expensive!

Niceeee. I used to wear a watch every single day, but it broke and I’ve been watchless for the past few years. I keep saying I’m going to save up and get a nice one I really love, but it’s just so much money to keep putting away and I always end up spending it on other stuff!

I, myself, do not wear a watch! I was not allowed to wear one to work, so I just fell out of the habit of wearing one. I tend to use wall clocks to figure out the time!
Im totally obsessed with Michael Kors watches as well!! I have 3 so far and am always looking to get a new one! I have an older silver one with a cognac leather strap, a white one from last summer that I always get compliments on, and my latest a christmas present a silver with stones around the face and rose gold accents on the numbers and hands. I want a gold one or the tortoise shell next. I just cant stop collecting and everytime I go into Nordstrom I’m glued to the watches case. My latest obsession is big cocktail rings! and now everythigg turqouise for summer.
Loving the watch!!! I think some things are definitely worth splurging on!

We clearly have the same taste! I have 4 Mr Kors, the gold, silver, white & gold and a new chunky black sports one and why not?! They’re not expensive and I feel pretty darn good when one is adorning my wrist

i KNEW i loved youuu! watches are literally my THANGGG. luckily, my dad collects watches. and, i just so happen to *borrow* said watches indefinitely. my theory happens to be the bigger the better when it comes to watch faces.
p.s. LOVE your new watch! i’ve been contemplating getting a gold one for way too long. and by “getting one”, i obviously mean convincing my dad that he needs to add one to his collection. you have officially inspired me!

OMG i love it. I’ve had my eye on a few MK watches, specifically this adorable rose-gold one.
I don’t wear a watch. I once read some feng shui thing(or something of the like), which said that a watch holds you back because it symbolizes constraining your time. I’m a naturally anxious person, so I took that idea to heart and got rid of my watch :). My boyfriend, however, has a fascination with them. Apparently his roommate in college collected designer watches, so now my boyfriend sees them as some kind of status symbol. He doesn’t see my point when I tell him that his Fossil watch is perfectly fine :).

I dont wear a watch but I know that I should probably get one. I know that once I graduate college checking my phone for the time isnt going to fly. Not sure what im looking for in a watch though but Ive decided it has to be pretty if its going to be on my wrist all day.

I would be a watch person if I wasn’t so cheap. I think they can make such a statement, especially semi-masculine ones! I haven’t had a watch in years but it would be a well-received gift. Perhaps on my birthday in July….

My daily watch is a Michael Kors tortoise shell that my boyfriend got me for Christmas. I’m obsessed with it, and love it mostly because I wear gold on my day-to-day. But my secret confession: Lately I’ve been CRAVING a silver one too! I totally agree, I need one for both color schemes!
I am noticing oversized MK watches a lot lately and I really want one! It has been a long time since I’ve worn a watch regularly, but these are so tempting! I think the rose gold and the tortoise shell ones are my favorite…I might need both
