plump it up.

Like most women, I seem to have formed a slight obsession with wanting fuller lips.

Okay…so maybe I’m the only one. Whatever.

But…how am I possibly supposed to pass up an on-sale two pack of lip gloss called Lip Inflation??

Seriously…inflation? That’s a pretty serious claim, right there.

I probably should’ve been turned off by that word (since it sounds like it would warrant an ER visit), but all I could picture was myself strutting around with a pout that Angelina herself would envy.

So…I caved. And the verdict?

Do you notice a difference? Maybe……? (Or are you too distracted by the ridiculously serious “pose” I have going on there?)

I think I noticed a slight difference, but maybe that’s just because my lips also got all tingly from the “peppermint, ginger, cinnamon, and vitamins” in the gloss. And because gloss on its own tends to give the appearance of fullness.

Oh well. I’m going to keep wearing it. Why not, right?

Have you ever tried a lip-plumping lip gloss?

I have a great lip gloss by benefit that is a lip plumper..its a pretty pink color with specks of gold in it, great for summer! I forget the name though..I got in in the “pixie perfect” set by benefit, i bet you could find it on its website! it definitely works at plumping!

I was at Saks one time and the guy at the Dior counter convinced me to try their “lip plumping” gloss. It was tingly and sparkly and interesting but buying expensive lipgloss is hard to justify!

i think i see a difference? haha i love those lip plumping things though because they always give the greatest tingly feeling

btw why didn’t i take time today to make dessert hummus is beyond me..

I’ve tried Lip Venom (it hurts!!!) and the Bare Minerals one (cannot remember the name but my husband hates when I wear it and he kisses me because it makes his lips tingle). I do notice a difference in your pictures, but it might be because you added color to your lips. Either way, your lips are already pretty and full!

I’ve tried lip plumping glosses before and they mostly just make my lips feel tingly. I think regular gloss makes them look pretty much the same. But I do identify with your desire for a fuller pout…

Every lip pumping thing I’ve ever tried feels tinly! I think to really compare you should take a before picture with another lip gloss, then after picture with the lip plumping gloss. Sometimes it feels like it’s more plump just because it’s glossy… just a thought.

I don’t know if i’ve ever tried one that I’m really convinced has worked…

I like the way the gloss feels! But I actually read in a magazine that it is more of a mental thing - I guess the tingly sensation triggers your brain to think that your lips are actually bigger :)

Uhhhh, i can’t look at your lips b/c the first thing i noticed were your eyebrows. (i have an obsession with eyebrows, creepy i know.) but i have eyebrow envy and love yours… any tips?

Gah, I wish I had eyebrow tips! I actually rarely ever touch mine. I have naturally very thin and *very* light eyebrows…I’m talking white haha. They’re actually penciled in a bit in those photos! So, I try to leave them alone because I like the thicker brow over a thin one. So, I guess you could say my tip is “less is more?!”

I have the Lip Fusion one(lasted forever), and I’m not really sure if it works or not. I do love the shine it adds though. I would get a cheaper brand if I buy another one.

I bought a lip plumper once from Target, and I remember it worked well. Or maybe I just liked the name (Sexy Mother Pucker 😉 )

Did there used to be a glass called Lip Venom or something like that that did the same thing? I had something like that, but I never really wear lip gloss or lip stick. My hair gets in it and it drives me crazy!

I wear the Boxom lips from Bare Minerals - I can see somewhat of a difference, but maybe it’s just me hoping my lips are fuller! :) …It comes in all kinds of different colors and I totally love the tingle feeling!

I use Lip Fusion from Sephora. It’s on the pricery side, $35, but lasts a long time. I don’t know how/if the plumping actually works, but it does fill in the tiny lines and cracks on my lips and makes them feel fuller.
