Speaking of fall, I must say that this has been one of the most fun fall weekends I’ve ever had 🙂 Let’s start at the beginning, shall we?
After a train ride to and from Manhattan on Friday (details later), I gymed, packed, and hit the road with Erica heading towards Long Island to reunite with Amanda. Upon our arrival (which went much more smoothly than the last time), the three of us headed out for a fun night. We dined, watched the Yanks, and did just a tad bit of dancing 😉
Since we had a long Saturday ahead of us, a good night’s sleep was in order. Eight hours later, we woke up to a delicious breakfast of yogurty goodness and homemade pumpkin bread. YUM.
There’s really nothing like cozy Saturday mornings…especially when cute pups are involved 🙂
Side note: this is not a prime example of mixing patterns. Ahem.
After getting all freshie fresh, we hopped in the car for a ride out east for some fall festivities. I’ll let the photos speak for themselves.
We may or may not have also made a stop at the shopping outlets. Oops.
Plans for the rest of the night include a delicious home-cooked meal and a trip into the city. Yay 😀
Keep it real, sweetpeas, and enjoy your weekend! xoxo G
- Have you done any fall festivities yet?
- How are you spending this weekend?

I truly mean this as a compliment: I’m pretty sure you are not wearing makeup in your “mixed up patterns” pictures… if I’m right, I just want to say I think you look even more gorgeous without it! You really do not need makeup! I stopped wearing makeup this summer when I forgot one day and nobody noticed. I love the simplicity of washing and moisturizing my face! It took a while to get used to, but now I am just as confident without it! Give it a try! 🙂
Hey Genevieve! Thanks for the compliment, you’re sweet 🙂 I do go makeup-less quite often, actually!
Looks like fun!! I haven’t really done any fall festivities yet but I’m hoping to get some friends together to go to a haunted corn maze next weekend- those are always fun! 😛
PLEASE tell me those are pumpkin donuts I see. 🙂
CIDER donuts. Sooo good!!
are those pumpkin doughnuts?! i think i need some of those.
OH my goodness the outlets are my WEAKNESS!!!
You are absolutely gorgeous! I wish I looked like you when I wake up in the morning. It definitely doesn’t happen.

Pumpkin doughnuts..WOW!
That looks like the perfect fall day! I celebrated the season by going to a county fair last weekend. I wish the fair had doughnuts like those though!
I want a donut now!
Last night I had a fall inspired dinner with my brother and sis-in-law followed by pumpkin carving with my nephew. It was a great evening!

My goal for the weekend is/was to tackle the growing pile of magazines that have come in over the past week or so. Jury is still out.
Love your boots, lady!
I’m glad you had such a beautiful fall weekend!
Also, I cannot stop obsessing over those boots, woman! I want to rewind to last spring and get me some!

So much season in this post I can not take it! Can you box some up and send to FL? Please?
You are adorable and always have on the cutest outfits! The fall festivities look like a blast! I can’t believe it’s already mid-October…crazy how time flies by! Next comes…CHRISTMAS! 😀
