style: dressed down #TrendyNotSpendy NYE look.

Hi friends! I hope you all had a lovely Christmas Mine was spent relaxing, laughing, eating, and spending great quality time with my family. I even managed to unplug from work for a few days, which was very much needed.

…and just like that, Christmas is over and New Year’s Eve is around the corner. AH!

I must admit that I’m not wearing this particular look for NYE because I’m going to a wedding now. But if I weren’t - I’d be all about this casual yet sparkly dressed down New Year’s Eve look.

Don’t get me wrong - I love getting dressed up for just about any occasion. But the older I get, the more I’m tempted by the idea of a casual, low key New Year’s Eve. Anyone with me?

I love this look because it’s super comfortable (this black jumper basically feels like you’re wearing pajamas) but also has some glitz and glam from the sparkly jacket.

And course, this look is very much #TrendyNotSpendy. With the exception of the purse and necklace (which I was gifted), the whole look is under $150!
