…these are a few of my favorite style “rules” to break, and the list goes on. I dunno, I’m not an adrenaline junkie, so I guess this is my form of being rebellious…?
One of my favorite broken rules, which is now quite the trend, is denim on denim – AKA the “Canadian tuxedo.”
The whole look:

boyfriend blazer – Silence + Noise (Urban Outfitters)

hat – 47 Brand (Urban Outfitters)
earrings – vintage find at the Hell’s Kitchen flea market

Nice combo, it looks great! I’ve attempted to try and pull off demin-on-demin with a button-down, jeans, and a jean jacket but can never seem to make it look right.
see - I can’t do this. I don’t know why, but I’ve tried denim on denim and it juts looks.. off. You rock it so well though! Is there a method to your madness?
