On Tuesday night I attended the Juicy Couture Overdose event at Goldbar hosted by SheKnows Experts, and it was so much fun! The event was to celebrate the launch of Juicy Couture’s newest perfume - Viva la Juicy Gold Couture.
The event really embodied exactly what you’d think “Couture Overdose” would be - an over-the-top gold and glitter experience. From the decorations to the food to the spritz bar and swag, everything was gold, glitz, and glam.
It was also great being able to catch up with the other SheKnows Experts! I even got to do a quick video interview for SheKnows, which I LOVE being a part of.
I was sent the Viva la Juicy Gold Couture perfume last week to try out for myself, and I really love it. It has the perfect scent balance of wild berries, a kiss of honeysuckle and a luxurious elixir of golden amber, melted caramel, and vanilla.
I’ve got to say, I love living here during New York Fashion Week! It’s so fun to experience the events, see the new trends coming out, and enjoying a bit of glamour that I wouldn’t otherwise. Oh, and who doesn’t love the opportunity to get dressed up?!
I’ve really been loving seeing all of the new trends throughout NYFW, but I’m especially loving all of the GOLD. From the runway to the Couture Overdose event, I can’t get enough of gold and will definitely be incorporating into my personal style. I’m a huge fan of gold jewelry, shoes, and even gold makeup and nails for the fall. And of course, Viva la Juicy Gold Couture Perfume to top it off!

How do you add a bit of #coutureoverdose to your personal style?
i actually wear Juicy’s Viva la Juicy la Fleur perfume. i loooove the scent — it’s pretty darn perfect, for me — but it unfortunately doesn’t last on me very long. :/ that’s the only Juicy product i have.
I really need to try this! Amber, vanilla and honeysuckle are my top three fragrance scents. I’m wearing a honeysuckle body spray at the moment.
