#LEAN14: peanut butter banana bites.

If you’re a peanut butter lover like I am, you probably know that banana and PB are a match made in heaven. That’s right - move over jelly, your time is up.

It really doesn’t get much easier than these peanut butter banana bites (which I’m sure you’ve seen floating around on Pinterest too). They’re one of my go-to’s as a perfect healthy snack or dessert.

All you need is one ripe banana and 2-3 tablespoons of peanut butter (or the nut butter of your choice).

Slice the banana, then make little “sandwiches” by adding peanut butter between two slices.

You can eat right away, or I like to put in the freezer to let them set and become denser.

What’s your favorite flavor/food to combine with peanut butter?

I am a big fan of peanut butter & bananas on a whole wheat wrap with Raisin Bran for some added CRUNCH!

weird combo, I know, but it is AWESOME!!!!

I’ve been eating these often lately! I have a jar of Planters crunchy PB with cranberries that needs to be used up, and it tastes great with banana bites!

Yum! These look delicious and the thought of putting them in the freezer sounds great! I’ll have to give this a try. I usually eat my peanut butter with apples and celery. Sometimes I add chocolate chips to the top of the peanut butter on celery. Not sure why but it’s tasty! Apples, peanut butter and chocolate chips too. I bet adding them between the banana and peanut butter sandwiches would be yummy as well.

If you ever get a chance try Naturally Nutty’s Mocha PB (they might only make the almond butter mocha now, which would still be good) with banana. It’s an amped up version of this and it tastes so amazing!

PB & banana is one of the best combinations in the world. Although, I’ll pretty much each peanut butter with anything…it’s a problem. (:
I actually make this snack all the time! It’s one of my favorites. Sometimes I’ll add a few chocolate chips in-between the banana slices too. It’s the perfect little sweet treat!

I eat oatmeal with peanut butter every single morning. And sometimes a mini bowl at night too- like right now. Haha. I used to eat PB&Banana sandwiches on wheat bread when I was little… I might have to try that one out again sometime. Love your blog!
