…literally.

I can’t stop swooning over my new camera! It’s the Canon EOS Rebel SL1 – the one I got to use at the NYC Ballet a few weeks ago. I hadn’t been able to stop thinking about it, so I decided to (finally) make the investment as a Christmas gift to myself. I couldn’t be more glad I did. So after this post – no more crappy iPhone photos!

Other happenings lately…

I went to New Jersey on Friday to see my lovely college roommates Chrissy and Nicole, and the new additions to their families! I was so excited to finally meet baby Owen.

How adorable is he?!

Also adorable - Nicole’s new pup, Lexi. She’s one of my favorite breeds – Shiba Inu.

Silas and Lucy, deep in thought…

Nicole and her interesting Christmas gift 😉

Earlier in the day I met Nicole and Shaun for lunch at PJ Whelihan’s. I got the California Turkey Burger, minus the bun. Easing into LEAN14, ya know?

Speaking of LEAN14, I think HIIT is going to continue to be my cardio of choice.

(Will be sharing that workout with you soon!)

What sort of camera do you use? Anyone else get themselves a Christmas gift this year?

    Swoon, swoon, swooooon….
I’m literally dying over that camera. I really need to invest in one (and have been planning too) because the iPhone pictures just aren’t cutting it anymore. I had been planning on getting the Canon Rebel T3i but, after hearing about how amazing this one is, I’m re-considering.
And I’ve been all about HIIT workouts lately! I love getting in and out of the gym in a short amount of time and still feeling like I kicked some butt. (:

Get this one!! I had been holding out too because of cost, but mostly because the T3i is just so big and heavy. Great camera, but I didn’t see myself wanting to carry it around the city with me. I highly recommend the SL1 :)

That cat umbrella cracked me up! I just invested in a Nikon for my Christmas gift :) Still waiting for it to arrive in the mail, so we’ll see.

Gracie - love for you to share more about your camera. I would love to bump up….I assume you can buy difference lenses for this one? I need a beginner dsi camera (I believe that is what they are called)….not sure if the one you now have is difficult to use????? I like the size of it for sure. I will definitely google it. Thanks.

Hey Susan! The one I got came with a lens, which is perfect for a beginner (me!). But you can definitely upgrade and purchase a new lens for it. I’ve only had the camera for about a week, but so far I love it! It takes great quality photos, and is really easy to use!
