{a particularly} thankful thursday.

Today I am thankful for…

This day. The opportunity to spend time relaxing, reflecting, and celebrating with my family.

How many incredible and unexpected things have happened since this time last year.

The fact that New York City is my home.

…but that I don’t have to brave it during the parade today 😉

Slowly but surely crossing things off my holiday bucket list.

(Santa and I had a heart-to-heart, clearly)

Movember. Not only does it hit close to home this year, but I’m just a fan of facial hair in general.

Pre-Thanksgiving feasts.

(honey-baked ham, eggs, spinach, avocado, classy paper plate)

Marshall Eriksen.

That feeling that exciting things are about to happen.

Faux fur.

The troubles I don’t have.

Tattoos.

That it’s never too late to start over.

“Selfie” named word of the year by the Oxford Dictionary. I COULDN’T AGREE MORE.

The fact that I have never once shopped on Black Friday.

…and probably never will.

“Ordinary” moments.

What are you thankful for today?

I am thankful that my life free is from war and persecution, full of family, friends and loved ones, and for my amazing church family who love me and encourage me through everything.

Happy Thanksgiving! I hope you had a wonderful holiday. I think it would be awesome to live in New York City especially during the holidays. I’ve never been shopping on Black Friday, and though I know I say I’d like to go just once to experience it, I’m not sure if I ever really will.

Hope you had a great Thanksgiving! I love the picture saying to be thankful for all the troubles you don’t have! That is a humbling thought for sure. I have been spared so many troubles by God’s grace!
