Back in the day, I blogged a lot more about my daily eats. I’d say it was a combination of a) being more interested in nutrition b) I cooked at home more and c) readers just seem to eat those posts up. Pun intended.
Lately I have been getting a handful of food-related questions for ask G, so I thought posting my meals here and there might be something you all might like. Yes? No? Anyway, here’s a look at what I ate yesterday.
Breakfast. A bowl of Kashi cereal topped with sliced banana, slivered almonds, some dark chocolate chips, and almond milk.

Plus a big cup of coffee…x 2.

Lunch. A variety plate of sorts: Ezekiel bread topped with a fried egg, sliced apple with cinnamon and peanut butter, some grapes, and vanilla Greek yogurt.

Snacks. Four squares of this amazingness.

A slice of cinnamon raisin Ezekiel bread topped with pumpkin cream cheese.

Dinner. A massive bowl of veggie soup topped with provolone cheese, and a big spoonful of peanut butter. AKA a lazy girl’s dinner.

Dessert. Cinnamon Roll Quest Bar, microwaved for 30 seconds. AKA cinnamon roll dough heaven.

Do you like daily food posts? Or (be honest) do you think it’s weird?
What’s your go-to “lazy” meal?

Totally read this post title as ‘full day of cats’….yikes. So glad it wasn’t about cats:) haha
LOL! thaaaat would be odd

I love this. I’m always trying to get tips on healthy things to eat for snacks/meals and I like reading about what you had today and it helps me get ideas!
I have a Cinnamon Roll Quest bar almost every single (weekday) morning for breakfast. My absolute fave food right now.
they’re amazing, right?!
My go-to lazy meal is a PB and J or some other sandwich. I like these posts but not when it becomes an every day thing. It’s nice to get a little peak every now and then
I enjoyed the food post! And I need to find a place to buy Quest bars as soon as possible… The cinnamon roll one sounds heavenly!
I like these posts! But I agree with Lauren, not everyday but every week is nice! I love that you put the Quest bar in a bowl and microwaved it. I need to try that. It looks delicious!
I did some meal prep this weekend (made things like rice and veggie casserole, lentils and sweet potatoes, and some quinoa pizza bites) so my lazy meals have actually been pretty good - just putting those in the microwave! Otherwise it usually ends up being something like yogurt and one (or a few…) microwave mug cakes. Basically I just skip to dessert…
Food posts don’t interest me all that much but I enjoyed yours
Plus I’m digging that coffee cup with the scripture in it!
Ohh, I never thought to microwave a Quest bar! Good idea!!!

What a great idea for a Quest bar, sounds awesome. I will have to try!
I love reading about people’s eats…but I would probably not ever do it myself regularly.
I like reading about other people’s eats. It gives me ideas for my meals.

I think it’s something fun to do once a week! Like others have said, it helps give me new ideas for meals.
Is it creepy that this looks almost identical to what I eat during a typical day?
When I had my old blog (2 years ago) I blogged a LOT about food/nutrition/exercise etc. but didn’t really enjoy it and didn’t feel like I related to the types of bloggers who posted that stuff. In my opinion, food should be secondary to life. It’s fun to try new recipes and restaurants but it’s definitely not something to obsess over. I’ll admit that it’s interesting to see what people eat in a day every once in a while…just not all the time!
Would it be weird if I started making my shopping lists based on what you eat? Everything looks so good, and especially easy!

I love food photography and getting great ideas for meals and snacks by reading posts of what others are eating
