scenes from the weekend.

This weekend started a bit early by way of a date night with Monica on Thursday. Sports bar, nachos, and an appearance by none other than RC – check, check, and check!

I spent 99% of the day on Friday in my apartment working and being lazy. Hey, it happens.

Then it was time to get all dolled up…

…for a Friday night out, of course.

Saturday started out typically enough with Jessi and I grabbing a quick grubfest breakfast.

And then, we were off! I haven’t had an adventure-ish Saturday in the city in a while, and it was so fun to just wander around, hit up some of our favorite bars, and be silly with my friends.

It was a pretty early night in, which I wrapped up by watching an informative documentary while falling asleep.

On Sunday I went to church in the morning, followed by lunch at Five Napkin Burger with Monica. I typically go for “real” burgers, but I had heard great things about their veggie burger and wanted to give it a try. The verdict - SO good!

I wrapped up the weekend with church in the evening and a nice long walk home. As much as I can’t wait for fall, I can’t say I hate this gorgeous summer evening weather…

What was the highlight of your weekend?
Anyone else kinda sorta want to be BFFs with Katy Perry?

You should seriously consider doing weekend Vlogs…they would be such a blast to watch! I’ve thought about doing them but never want to make my friends feel uncomfortable by videotaping them. haha. They’re used to pictures but video is a whole different ball-game!

And your weekend posts always leave me itching to make another NYC trip. I love LA but there really is nothing like that city..

It’s funny you mentioned that because I’ve been thinking about doing vlogs lately! they really are just a little bit awkward though, haha. I think getting my friends in on it would actually make it more fun! thanks for the suggestion :) xoxo
