Another fun Friday night in the city with my favorite chick – check.

Saturday started out as a low key day with a quick workout, followed by getting my hair done at Rizza Salon. Gotta keep the blonde fresh!

After a few hours of catching up on Breaking Bad I made the last minute decision to go out Saturday night.

All’s well that ends with chicken & waffles at 2am.

The feasting continued on Sunday with a visit to SmorgasBar. I had no idea that my favorite food vendors also set up camp in Manhattan!

The rest of Sunday included some shopping, which was a success when I found this cute and flowy Under Skies dress. Not a success – trying to take uninterrupted selfies of it

Then there was church in the evening, followed by dinner at one of my favorite restaurants, Momoya.

What a great weekend, from start to finish!
As usual, will leave you with some inspiration for this Monday…

What was the highlight of your weekend?

I'm the girl, Gracie Gordon. Here at GML you can follow my journey of dreaming, working, eating, loving, and blogging my way through life in NYC.

Oh my goodness that chicken and waffles and fries looks like a special kind of heaven. Haha.
aGREED.
Love your hair!
Highlight of the weekend was hiking with my husband and puppies! (And successfully making a Sunday hot yoga class!)
Looks like a fun weekend! The blonde is looking great - I am actually going for a chocolate brown hair dye in the next couple of weeks!
You’ll look AMAZING with chocolate brown hair! can’t wait to see
Hey, love your blog and I actually finally got around to starting my own, acuriousbee.blogspot.com (should totally check it out). I just moved to the city and am looking for a good hair salon. I am a fellow blonde so the place needs to know what they’re doing with highlights! ( you are blonde so you understand my craziness). Is Rizza salon your “go to” salon or do you bump around from salon to salon? Any recommendations? I am super finicky about who touches my hair! I’ve had some pretty bad hair cuts. One time a hair dresser literally created a circle of yellow in the back of my head. I looked like a walking target.
Hey lady!
I do tend to bounce around based on what I can afford at the time. My favorites are Rizza Salon (Jimmy), John Barrett Salon (Carlina), and Arrojo Salon (Nadia).
Nadia is my main go-to, she’s amazing! She also gives a discount if it’s your first time seeing her
shoot me an email if you want me to put you in touch with her! xo
love the phillipians verse! reminds me of Ecclesiastes 3:11 {He has made everything beautiful in it’s time}.
and I had no idea smorgasburg had a manhattan location!? TOO MUCH. I can’t wait to go :)!
Yes ma’am! Down at the Seaport!
That looks like a fun weekend!
I love that verse!!!
My highlight- going to Shelter Island and hanging with my best friend Tia
This is a little crazy, but I spent a week in NYC and I am 99% sure I got my hair done by Nadia at Arrojo. Was she there in spring of 2010? Also, did you watch Breaking Bad on Sunday??? I won’t give anything away, but wow.
haha, that’s so crazy! I’m not sure, I started going to her in 2011 or 2012. She was probably a student in 2010 though!
I didn’t watch BB
I’m still on season 4…I don’t have cable, only netflix, so I’m a season behind. BOO!
