Sometimes there’s a gap in between blog posts where way too many things happen, and it’s easier to just keep the words short let the photos speak for themselves.
This is one of those times. Sound good?
Thursday night was an impromptu dinner at Alta, which turned out to be one of the most amazing meals I’ve had in a while. None of my photos turned out, but let’s just say this is thee place to go for some of the city’s best small plates.

Saturday was an adventure from start to finish. First up was brunch at Freeman’s.

Sunday was pretty low key: brunch, church, and Gatsby.
I’d be lying if I said I didn’t have at least a little case of the Monday blues! So as usual, here’s a little dose of Monday inspiration.

What was the highlight of your weekend?
Did you see The Great Gatsby? Thoughts??

Ahhh I love Alta! One of my faves
you look so pretty in your pics
Aw thank you sweetie! :*
What devotional do you use? Every one seems to be so poignant.
Those excerpts are from “Gob’s Promises Day by Day.” Other ones I read daily are “Jesus Calling” by Sarah Young and “Cheque Book of the Bank of Faith” by Spurgeon
GoD’s* haha!
Awesome. Thank you! And yes, I DID see Gatsby. I thought the cinematography was beautiful, Carey Mulligan plays flighty really well, and Leo just breathes power (how DOES he do that?).
So jeal about Gatsby! I think I’m going to see it later this week.
Looks like such a fun weekend! My weekend was exhausting, but fun! I finally went to NYC to scope out future apts.!
Ohhh how did the apt search go?!
It was pretty good! I found one apartment I loved in the Upper East Side and we’re continuing to look elsewhere. I’m def. sticking with Manhattan though, I tried looking at Queens, but I just love the city!
Awesome! UES is lovely
I haven’t seen Gatsby yet but I’ve heard mixed reviews.
Yeah, I personally was a bit disappointed in it. I could have used a bit more rawness/angst, but that’s just because that’s what I typically enjoy!
I just saw Gatsby today! LOVED all the costumes and glamour. The dialogue itself could have been more interesting, but Leo was a stud as per usual.
