It started out gloomy.
But the sun always comes out.
We danced.
We ate.
We stayed out late.
We even started a church.
Needless to say, it was a great weekend and just what the doctor ordered. There’s nothing like escaping the city and spending time with my amazing friends (and making new ones!) to realize how incredibly blessed I am.

I had to work all weekend. We are never closed, so unless your day off falls on a holiday, you got to work.

Today’s pretty gloomy too, and that picture of drinking coffee under blankets looks so appealing! I enjoyed staying home, sleeping and cleaning. We’ll be traveling for the next four weekends so it was good to get some at-home relaxing in.
I’m glad you had a great un-plugged Memorial Day weekend! I love the picture with the floating lanterns. I want my whole backyard to be filled with them lol.
