To get rid of food in the house, you have to bake and eat cookies for breakfast.

What’s your least & favorite parts about moving?
I hate packing and that horrible moment when you think that all of your stuff won’t fit in the truck. Definitely happened to me.
Favorite part- the excitement, change, fresh start etc.!
Least favorite- just about everything else… SO much work! I guess i’ll go with lifting heavy furniture.
How come you’re moving again? Are you staying in Manhattan?
Yup - staying in Manhattan! Pretty close to where we are now actually. Just moving to a different building with a bit of a better location and some more amenities
Unpacking is my least favorite part. Ick.

Faves: fresh start in a new place; clearing out clutter/storage I forgotten I had kept around for no reason at all.
Least faves: packing everything up + then realizing before you move that you need what’s already packed up!

This is my life right now! I have been eating random packets of oatmeal for dinner and baking brownies, cookies and other goodies for work every day!
Unpacking. I hate it. I just want to shove all the boxes in some corner and not deal with it for a while. I should probably take that as a sign that I have way too much stuff….
Good luck with the move! I am not a fan of moving just because of the packing and unpacking. But I’m guessing living in an apartment, you don’t have quite as much to haul. But I could be wrong. I bet your closet is way more full than mine haha!
Good luck moving! While I’ve never formally moved, having to pack up all my stuff at university and get myself back home with my measly baggage allowance sure feels like it
Totally understand about the baking/eating cookies when moving. You don’t want to waste flour, let alone butter and chocolate!

Oh gosh moving is so exhausting - good thing you have cookies to fuel you through! I am such a horrible packer so packing everything is definitely my least favorite part BUT I do actually enjoy unpacking so I guess that makes up for it!
My favorite part about moving is getting to the new place and putting it all away, and decorating.
Least favorite? Actually moving it.
Least: Unpacking and Settling in. I want everything to happen instantaneously … but of course it doesn’t lol. Most of the times I unpack then I spend weeks rearranging till it just right. Not to mention NYC apartments are small so making everything fit is quit of a hassle! Good Luck love!
I hate moving heavy stuff, and I always get bruises all over my legs and my cuticles get nasty from carrying stuff.
I love unpacking and arranging things neatly in my new place. It doesn’t last long, but it’s therapeutic to organize my stuff.
