The other night we had our church connect group at my apartment, and I baked these Magic Cookie Bars (sans the dates) for everyone.
They were a hit, to say the least.
This recipe is so simple! And the result – complete with a graham cracker crust and ooey-gooey filling - is almost too delicious for words. (Just make sure to bake it well ahead of serving so it has time to set before cutting.)
I guess the point of this post is just…make these.
These look delicious! I love all sorts of cookie bars and these have such classic flavor combinations. I’m definitely going to have to make them for someone’s birthday soon

Ohmygosh, the cafe down the road from work sell a slice very similar to this and I just can’t get enough!!! It is, as your recipe says, magic! Will have to try making these

So good, aren’t they? But mine are not made with dates… mine are purely and sinfully bad. But so sooo good. I guess they are “magic” because they make all your problems just disappear! haha
