not just any.

I’ve become that person.
….that person who thinks that anything and everything is better when it’s in this city.
AKA I’m an NYC snob. Owning it.

But seriously - this is the city where anything goes - and it’s the city where you can find a bigger, better, and unique version of just about anything.

…Like when your sweet tooth kicks in, we’ve got ice cream. But not just any “ice cream.”

All natural, dairy free, fat free, gluten free banana soft serve from The Soft Serve Fruit Co.

And when crisp autumn Saturdays roll around, we pay a visit the park. But not just any park. Central Park.

The roombud and I took the opportunity to get all dressed up in our girlie fall attire, naturally.

(Which resulted in a photo shoot, even more naturally.)

I’ve actually only been to Central Park a few times – never during the fall – and it. was. perfect. So…romantic!

We did the strolling thing (with Starbucks in hand, of course).

We played. Like 4-year-olds.

And jumped fences. Like 9-year-olds.

Eventually we did the grown-up thing and found a beautiful little spot to read and journal.

After a long day of frolicking around, we enjoy a good night out…but not just any night out.

We have the most fun, weird, and unpredictable nights out.

And then there are my friends. But not just any friends.

I’m lucky enough to be surrounded by the most fun and beautiful people in this entire city. I hate their guts :)

It was a good weekend.

Are you a “snob” for where you live? Could you see yourself living anywhere else?

is it just me or have you looked EXTRA beautiful in your last few posts. I don’t know why, you just look like you’re glowing. I think it’s cause you’re doing all that ‘living and stuff. Living looks good on you 😉 Keep smiling!

What a great post! I definitely feel like a snob for nyc, even though don’t live there all the time now, there’s just so much awesome random stuff to explore. That being said, I am a bit of a snob for Bristol (we’re pretty awesome), go rainy weather! 😉

i’m a COMPLETE nyc snob and i own it!!! haha i moved to the big apple expecting great things and, luckily, the city that never sleeps did not disappoint!

I am a total London snob and I own it like it’s my job. Seriously. I don’t even live there but I visited for 1.5 weeks 3 years ago and ever since have been convinced that EVERYTHING is better over there (because it is). Going back for grad school and internships and I CANNOT WAIT.

I am a complete snob for my city! I live in orange county, ca and yes not only is the state the best because of the dream of going to the mountains and beach in one day (which i’ve done) but my little city of orange is just so perfect to me :) We live inside our means.. which is impressive for most cities, the schools are great (I’m a teacher so I’m biased) and old town orange is the cutest little area ever. That thing you do was taped there! and the old town goes all out for EVERY holiday. I do know the love that people in NYC feel though.. I went on a month long vacation there one time and fell in love! but in a few months I will be a full blown seattlite!! and can’t wait :)

I love NY already but you make it look extra fun! Can’t wait to visit again soon! I’m def a snob for San Francisco… I love it here and have a hard time thinking I would want to live anywhere else. Except for London, where I lived for 6 months- I still think it is the best city in the entire world!

I am so jealous of your snobbery! But girl, I would own it too! haha! You make me want to live in the city for a couple of months or something. I was really contemplating it the entire time I was reading your entry!

PS. Your hair is so VA-VA-VAAAAAolumious. haha

I’m a total snob for Charlotte. I always think that things are better there, even if it’s just driving around in my car. I love the weather, the scenery, the city, the countryside, and the people. To me it’s the perfect city. I’ve been living in Daytona for almost a year but am dying to live in Charlotte again soon!

love the pics of Central Park! So pretty!

I LOVE Central Park during the fall. You and your roomie’s outfits are adorable!
I’m definitely an LA snob. I love everything about the city and can’t imagine living anywhere else. (Unlessss it’s NYC. I definitely plan to live there at some point in the future!)

Ahhh obsessed with NYC! So jealous of your wonderful life there. And also obsessed with your clothes. Your socks? jacket? hat? …can I just have your closet please?!

Posts like this make me so sad that I’ve never even seen NYC! You’re taking pity on me right now, aren’t you? 😉

And no, I am most definitely not a snob about Mooresville, NC, but I am a giant snob for my alma mater- University of Georgia! It’s pretty much the most awesome college ever.

Obviously I’m going to move to NYC now and become your best friend … 😉 I’m a snob for Denver, because I lived there for a year and a half and now apparently own it, even though I moved back home to GR, Mich.

I’m from Chicago and I’m definitely a pizza snob…no other kind even compares! Hopefully someday I’ll live in New York and can become a snob there too. But I for sure won’t change my pizza loyalty :)
