my favorite gluten-free products {part 1}.

Ever since posting about my decision to say so long to gluten, I’ve gotten a ton of requests to share my favorite g-free products. I must admit that I’ve sort of been putting it off just because there are just so many incredible gluten-free products to choose from! But since there’s no way I could jam-pack them into one post, here are a handful of my current favorites.

Julian’s Recipe frozen buttermilk pancakes.

We all know there’s nothing that can compare to homemade pancakes….but frozen pancakes can come pretty darn close. I love these ones from Julian’s Recipe, which I got on sale at Whole Foods. I often eat two topped with peanut butter (and/or butter, syrup, coconut, and white chocolate chips. ahem.) as a nighttime snack.

Van’s frozen waffles.

See above comments for pancakes and apply here. Van’s waffles are much more sturdy, though, which makes them great for one of my favorite easy meals - waffle sandwiches.

Love Grown Foods granola.

I’ve raved about Love Grown in the past, but I’ve got to say it again - hands down the best granola out there - gluten-free or not!

NuGo bars.

I knew that NuGo was the maker of my favorite gluten-free “candy bar,” but it turns out they know what they’re doing with “healthier” bars too. I love the hearty sweet + salty flavor of their Dark Chocolate Trail Mix bar:

And I’m also a huge fan of their raw Cranberry NuGo 10 bar.

This one sort of has the consistency of a LaraBar (another g-free fave), but it’s more dense and has a great flavor. A must-try, for sure.

Ancient Harvest quinoa pasta.

When I was a kid, I would eat huge bowls full of pasta like it was my job. It was - and still is - a favorite carb coma food of mine. So you can best believe I was on the lookout for a gluten-free pasta replacement. Enter: Ancient Harvest quinoa pasta.

While I do love me some quinoa, I like that this pasta doesn’t really taste like it. To me, it just tastes like regular old pasta! And I like that.

So there you have it - just a few of my favorite gluten-free products. I’ll be sure to post more soon! Until then…

Have you tried any of these?

I love quinoa pasta (I just figured out I can cook it in the microwave!)

I love amy’s “bunny” snacks. All the GF flavors are the best! (Which never happens! Usually all the cool flavors of stuff I find aren’t GF)

Also, Food Should Taste Good Jalapeno Chips are amazing.

I’ve been gluten free for years and I’ve never tried any of these! I guess I’m pretty skeptical on trying out any sort of gluten free product..usually they taste bad aha!

I’m not gluten free but one of my favorite g-free products are nana’s cookies, they texture is chewy and perfect! They sell them at whole foods, definitely a good option when you need some sweets :)

Van’s waffles are absolutely amazing. Nuff said. Trader Joe’s has a different brand of frozen waffles that are really good as well. Udi’s is probably my favorite brand so far! They have bread, bagels, muffins, etc. Try Udi’s if you haven’t already!
