my new midnight snack.

…Okay, so maybe it’s more like a “10pm snack,” but that didn’t have as much of a ring to it.

All you need is:

  • 2 tablespoons peanut butter (or any other well-melting nut butter)
  • about a cup of Chex cereal

Place the peanut butter in a bowl and microwave for 20-30 seconds. Then mix in the cereal, making sure to coat each piece. Freeze for at least 10 minutes for the most satisfying/crunchy/peanut-buttery snack ever.

Or, as I like to call it…

What’s your go-to nightly snack?

well, we are now. and since we already arranged my move-in, we will be making this nightly to go with my greek-yogurt topped VitaTop with sugar-free chocolate fudge.

    just say yes.

As the world’s greatest lover of puppy chow, I am intrigued.

I have been mixing peanut butter with a little plain cereal, a few chocolate chips and marshmallow bits before bed. I don’t think I need to tell you how fabulous THAT is.

Oh my goodness that is genius. Imagine if you added a little cinnamon? Mmmmmmm.

OR YOU COULD ADD CHOCOLATE AND POWDERED SUGAR AND-
    Oh wait.
    That’s beside the point.

Sounds a lot like puppy chow to me! Just without the requisite chocolate and powdered sugar. That might be a good thing for me, though. I cannot stop eating puppy chow…ever. Maybe I’d be able to exercise a teeny tiny bit of self control with this :)

This looks delicious! Love the idea of a lazy girl’s puppy chow 😉 My go to evening snack is generally some nuts…or nut butter

But anyways - I’m in love with this, so delicious & so easy … it will def be my “survival food” to get me through my stressful senior year of college!
