Nicole is getting maaarrrriiieeeeed

Yesterday was her bachelorette party, and as the title suggests, it was the first I’d ever been to.
I headed back to PA on Friday night so I could get up bright and early to help set things up for the all-day event. We kicked things off with a day at the spa, which my sore back and nasty New York feet were very appreciate of.
Pardon the TMI.
We also enjoyed the typical bachelorette party fun and games, like (grown up) arts and crafts…

..and playing dress-up…
…which I clearly had a bit too much fun with. Ahem.

After some more games and opening gifts at Nicole’s sister’s house, we headed to a big sushi dinner.

The rest of the girls went out on the town after dinner, but I had to make an early exit to return my parents’ car (one of the few downsides of being a car-less city girl
). But I did have an amazing day with the girls and Cole-Bear, and I couldn’t be more excited for her and Shaun’s big day!
And the next round of celebrations belongs to…

Chrissy!
Have you ever been to a bachelorette party? How did you celebrate?

Looks like you had an awesome time
Love the wig!
I have been to a couple and I had mine in April! They are fun!
Loving the pink wig, I need that for halloween ; )
Fun times! I think the 4-5 years of bachelorette parties when all your friends are getting married are some of the best years of your life, enjoy!
The grossest stripper in the history of the entire world was at the first and only bachelorette party i went to-the one you went to looks so fun.
I’ve never gone to a Bachelorette party, but I look forward to going to one in the future! They always sound like a bunch of fun!
The first bachelorette party that I went to I actually helped host! There were penis cookies (which tasted AWFUL, no shock there), tiaras galore, a card game/scavenger hunt which involved getting pictures with the WEIRDEST fellows, and (hooray!) a bar crawl (more like a hop, as we were all so excited) in Philly!
It was glorious, and the morning after featured an AMAZING trip to Wawa. mmmmm.
I can’t wait for my lady friends to start getting married! I want to go to fun parties and have an excuse to buy pretty dresses.
Oh wow! I’m only 18 so (thankfully) none of my friends have gotten married yet. One time on a camping trip me and my friend ended up meeting up with guys at a stag though, so I guess I’ve been to the opposite
.
My bestie’s bachelorette was on a Thursday night (really!?!?! Who does that?) so the next day at work I was pretty unhappy to be awake, haha…but we chilled out at the Green Iguana (a cozy tropical bar down in Tampa) - it was low-key but so memorable!
My bridesmaids threw me a “Bachelorette Brunch” because I wanted to do something a little different. We went to the Ritz Carlton in Philly & it was awesome!
1. You look great in pink hair
2. Love your friend Linsey’s hair…I wish mind could do that
3. Bach parties are a blast…Vegas was the most memorable
How fun!! I’ve been to several bachelorette parties (most of my friends are married at this point). For these parties, I’ve been to Key West, Tampa, Orlando, and Pittsburgh.
When I got married, I just had a get together with friends… it included food and drink, a few games, and the receiving of lingerie. It was a pretty fun night.
I actually was planning on blogging about it today, as part of my “while we were engaged” post.
Your pics are super cute, by the way! I love the purple wig!
I’ve never been to a bachelorette party but I want to! They sound so fun!
I JUST attended my own (and hosted!) this weekend! twinkies!
I love the wigs. Why didn’t I do that?
Going to the spa sounds like so much fun and I love the wigs. I’ve been to six of them so far. One involved a stripper (gross.. umm thanks but no thanks), one involved a hotel party, one was dinner at Applebees. The last one I went to was by far the best! Everyone wore black dresses, I dressed up my outfit with hot pink peep toe shoes. The bride wore a white dress and one of the bridesmaids made beautiful sashes for everyone in the wedding party. The best part was going out on the town in the party school bus. Basically, it was a school bus that had been converted to a party bus - all the seats had been removed to make seats all around the outside. It was ridiculous and awesome all at the same time.
Looks like a fun party! I’ve only been to one bachelorette party so far, and it was awesome. I’m excited to see who out of my friends gets married next!
I missed the bachelorette party for the last wedding I went to.
But I just love weddings. They are super fun!!
And that wig is gold.
My friends hosted mine a few weeks ago and it was so.much.fun! We had a happy hour at one of my bridesmaid’s apartments, opened gifts, went out to dinner and then bar hopped. It was such a good time! Glad you enjoy your friend’s!
Ahhhh bachelorette parties!!! I love the penis straws, personally.
Looks like a great party! I’ve been to one- my sister’s! We started off with a pole dancing class then moved on to a bar for drinks and then dinner where there was a live band….many ‘bacholerette’ games were played which were a real laugh!
EEEE so much fun!! my first bachelorette party will be my brothers fiance’s which is going to be early next year YIPEE i cannot wait!
I’ve been to about 7 bachelorette parties (I’ve been a bridesmaid in 5 weddings)! and they are the best!! We always have a great time and party like we are in college again. You must go all out-the memories are worth it!
I’ve been to one Bachelorette party and I had a BLAST!
Glad you had a good time.
The last bachelorette party I went to got sooooooo out-of-hand! The bride-to-be was smooching every dude at the bar… Oh my. Looks like you had a blast, and I really like the new ‘do, haha! No seriously, you rock the pink wig!!
Never been to one myself - only ever been invited to one and I couldn’t make it
My friends are only just starting to get married.
Those glasses are lovely - looks, and sounds, like you had a great time!
