Remember that photo of a Christmas shop from yesterday? Well, the reason I was there was to put together a lil somethin’ somethin’ for soon-to-be-bride, Nicole!
My best friend/college roombud Nicole and my good friend Shaun are getting married in August, and I’M in the wedding 😀 So the other bridesmaids and I each put together a themed gift basket. My theme – holidays, of course!

The bridal shower was today, so I got up bright and early to head to PA. After chilling for a bit at one of Philadelphia’s most beautiful attractions – 30th Street Station…
…I was picked up by Chrissy and her mom to head to the shower. It was at Nicole’s grandparents’ house, and it was already set up beautifully upon our arrival.

One of the best things about the shower was that Nicole was actually really surprised!
It was also really great to catch up with my college babes. I’ve missed them so…

There was also an amazing spread of food, including massive veggie plates…
…insanely good Mexican food from a local restaurant…
…and an impressive dessert table, which I happily took full advantage of.
And, of course, there were gifts galore.
Umm, when can I get married?? 😛
All in all, it was a really lovely day – probably the most pleasant bridal shower I’ve ever been to. Next up on the wedding agenda: another shower (Chrissy’s) and two bachelorette parties. Whoop!

What is a bridal shower? Is it like a hen party? What kinda prezzies do you get?
A bridal shower is pretty much just a party for the bride-to-be! Gifts, food, games, etc. It’s usually a surprise.
Now..what’s a hen party? lol
What a great day! I’ve been to quite a few weddings including my sister’s which was a blast! I’m actually heading to Prague next week for my cousin’s wedding!

I went to my first wedding a few weeks ago and loved it. All my friends are starting to get married/engaged and it’s so weird to think about…didn’t college just end?!

Wow - that looks like an AWESOME shower. Your friend looks like one lucky bride! I think your themed baskets are a great idea!! Holidays require a lot of little knick knacks.. and you surely helped out in that department. So cute!

I haven’t, but that may be a good thing! Not sure I’d be a very good bridesmaid… And certainly wouldn’t be a good Maid of Honor! What a fun idea to do theme baskets… Really lets guests get creative and things not be to generic or cliche.
I want more of my friends to get married so that I can get involved in the weddings and go to showers like this! What a fun day! Y’all look so pretty!

I was actually just recently in my first wedding! It was out in Los Angeles.. I made it for the shower but had to miss the bachelorette party. It’s nice to be in a wedding and watch your friends marry the ones they love
my cousin had her bridal shower about a month ago and someone gave her a holiday basket. i thought it was just about the cutest idea ever! props girlie

I was just in a wedding in February, and it was an east indian wedding
So cool, because I’m about as white as they get, and it was so interesting to see such a different culture. Plus, I got to wear a crazy hot pink Sari.
I love all of those shower decorations! I’m in two weddings this fall..with only one weekend separating the two of them! Needless to say, I will be attending my fair share of showers and bachelorette parties at the end of this summer :).
#1: I swear your friend Nicole could be twins with a girl I know from college. WOWZA. They’re practically identical.
#2: I looovvveee the themed gift basket idea. So cool! I don’t think I’ll have to be planning any bridal showers too soon, but I’m sure I’ll be attending a few: my best friend from elementary/middle/high school AND my college roommate are both getting married next June (on the same. freaking. day. Seriously. How does that happen?!) so I definitely see some bridal shower attending in my future.
