Hello, loves! Let’s see…where did we leave off…?
After the sessions yesterday a group of us headed to Talara for drinks and appetizers. Talara is a Latin bar & restaurant that specializes in raw small plates, but they still had other cooked menu options as well. I was tempted to try their supposedly famous Seviche, but I knew we were getting dinner elsewhere so I stuck to enjoying the good company

Tina and I

G&G!
I loved the environment of this Talara – it had that fun, carefree feel of being on vacation almost. So although I can’t vouche for the food (yet), I’d say this place is worth a shot if you’re visiting the Baltimore area.
Next we headed to the waterfront for dinner at Pizazz Tuscan Grille. I can’t say we had the greatest of service because they were low-staffed, but the manager made up for it by bringing us some garlic bread and pizza appetizers on the house. And, I didn’t mind too much because it was nice to just be sitting outside on the gorgeous Saturday evening!

Hi Beth!
For our meal Brittany and I split the (gluten-free) Pizza Rustica – tomato sauce, fresh mozzarella, freshly roasted peppers, zucchini, eggplant, tomatoes.
It was really good! I especially loved the gluten-free crust – it was like a thick tortilla, almost? And there was definitely no skimpage on the veggies, clearly.
After dinner an even bigger group of us (including mah girls Meg, Megan, and Katy!) headed over to Power Plant Live, which I’d say is best described as “A Nightlife Theme Park”…

Needless to say, we had a blast
I spent the morning hanging out with Gabs for a bit before she headed home, and I’ll be en route back to NYC shortly. All in all, I’d deem this weekend of learning, relaxing, eating, and amazing company a downright phenom one.
See you in New York! xoxo G
How do you handle not-so-great service at a restaurant?
And who is the blogger you’d most like to meet?? (I’ve definitely met some new faves this weekend!)

There are so many bloggers I would like to meet! I think most of them were at Fitbloggin!
You seemed to have so much fun this weekend! I wish I was there.
That pizza looks soooooo goooooooood
How do you handle not-so-great service at a restaurant? = I never go back and try to be as polite as possible while im there and then run, run far far away…lol
And who is the blogger you’d most like to meet?? = I answered this on my post a couple days ago. I met tons of ppl at FBuzz in San Fran, but hardly enough time with anyone and would love to meet so many ppl..including you and more than just a few hellos and quick moments with Tina and Gabriela, too!
Last night was fun for sure… this morning came EARLY
!
I love the gray booties you’re wearing!
I’m usually pretty patient if the place is super packed. The most I’ll do is ask the waiter if the kitchen is backed up or something. Its not their fault.
It looks like you had so much fun!
That pizza looks so good!
I just try to be polite and usually don’t go back to often after that.
There are so many bloggers I would love to meet. Most of them were at fitbloggin.
Wow…looks like you had a fun weekend!
That pizza looks so delicious! Too many great bloggers to meet: you, Courtney, Gabriela, Julie, Tina, Kath, Jenna, and Caitlin all seem like such a blast!
Not so great service can be hard to deal with. When I was in Las Vegas, we were at an Asian restaurant and were literaly one of 2 tables in the whole place. It took them an hour to get our our appitizers. Then - they tried to give us the bill (that included our entrees) without actually giving us the entrees. We considered leaving right then. but I was starving! So we waited another 1/2 hour.
It is the only time I have EVER not left a tip. But I was so discouraged!
It was so great meeting you this weekend! I wish we could have hung out more - I didn’t know you guys were going out until it was too late - maybe next time! I hope you get home safe!
Looks like you all had a blast.. and the pizza looks extra delish! There are a handful of bloggers I would love to meet, and hope I get the chance to do so
Looks like so much fun! I’d love to attend a conference one day.
Gahhh I cannot get over how great lastnight was. Seriously.
Must happen again, really, really soon. I love you!
Hiiii! Last night was so fun! So glad we got to meet and hang out, and making eyes at each other at dinner was definitely one of the highlights of the night. Something must have been really funny when you snapped that photo of me…
I’d love to meet so many bloggers out there that it is hard to just pick one! I really want to attend something like fb sometime! As far as not so great service I try to be as sweet as possible and if the food was great it redeems the restaurant but if not then I don’t see why I would go back.
I’m obsessed with the booties in that one picture. Ah-dorable. Looks like you had an amazing time. Glad to get updates on how great it was and hopefully I’ll make the next one!
What a special awesome weekend you had! I wish I could have been there! I do love those boot/heels you are rocking in your G&G picture. Too cute!
I have to admit I am not always good about being patient with bad service, maybe because I used to be a waitress…
I loooooved this weekend. Even with some of the stuff that went on, it was still absolutely amazing and you were the best roomie ever. I cannot wait to start our NYC adventuressss!!!!!
I’m actually pretty chill about getting bad service at a restaurant. As long as the food is still good, I’m generally happy.
I haven’t met any bloggers yet, so I want to meet all of them!
Last night was so fun! It was a blast seeing you…I just wish we had a few more days
This is great, I love reading about the blogging community:)
