fb part 3: straight chillin’.

Bonjour, mes amis!

Clearly I’ve been hanging out with this one a lot ;)

One of the reasons I’m loving FitBloggin’ is that it’s made for a very chill weekend. Heck, even the train ride here was the most relaxation I’ve gotten in weeks! Don’t get me wrong – I love my NYC – but it’s been great to relax, eat good food, and stroll around the harbor with good company.

 

And, as usual, I tried to get all artsy-fartsy with my point-and-shoot ;)

After some sessions and our second walk for the day, the girls and I headed back for lunch, which was even more impressive than breakfast. On the menu: an apple & greens salad, roasted potatoes, sauteed mixed veggies, grilled chicken, and a quinoa & bean casserole.

 

Yep…I think I’ve eaten more produce today than I usually do in a week. I guess this focus on fitness is rubbing off on me, huh? :)

Like I mentioned earlier, I have some wedding prep and plans to go out in the works, but I have a feeling that the straight chillin’ theme of this weekend is here to stay! Til next time…
