spring, sprang, sprung.

One of my favorite things in life is the changing of seasons.

No, really…it’s in my top five.

To me, the way that the weather and nature transforms four times a year (depending on your location, at least) is such a beautiful indicator of God’s personality and…artistry.

The only thing better than the change of scenery is the symbolic significance of the seasons. And, while autumn will always be my saison de choix, spring holds some of that same symbolism.

So here’s to change.

Here’s to new beginnings.

Here’s to new adventures.

Here’s to life in bloom.

Here’s to picnics!

Here’s to sundresses, rompers, and all things floral.

Here’s to beauty that emerges out of the tough times.

Here’s to placing hopeful trust in a God that redeems, renews, and authors each and every season.

What’s your favorite thing about the onset of spring?

      Hi Alex -
The links to where I found the photos are at the bottom of the post. Granted, they don’t seem to be credited there either, but it would be pretty difficult to track them down all the way to the source. I do always make it a point to credit the best I can, so if you have any suggestions, I really would appreciate them!

Gracie, I love this post! My favorite thing about the spring is getting to go on nightly walks with the hubby to catch up on our days!

I LOVE the last line of your post! God DOES redeem, renew, and author each season!

Yay spring!! The mention of a picnic makes me want to have one in Central Park :)

I’m most excited about sundresses. I’m soooo sick of pants, and can’t wait to just throw on a single item of clothing before leaving the house, instead of layering up!!

    Love this quote.
I know it’s supposed to be applied to the change in the weather. But I’m currently going through some stressful events, so I’m going to write this one down everywhere and keep repeating it to myself. Thanks Gracie.

I’m excited to wear sundresses and to go for walks and not freeze my bum off. I love early mornings in the spring, when everything is quiet and it’s nice and sunny and smells fresh (I love the smell of spring!). It’s my favorite time to go for a walk

I grew up/ lived in south Texas for 20+ yrs so I was only familiar w/ cool and HOT. Don’t get me wrong I’m a huge fan of the heat but now that I live in the top half of the US it’s been nice experiencing the changing of the seasons! Have a good start to your wk!

I love the change of seasons too.

And I LOVE spring! I love the new flowers, blooms, green grass again, the warmer weather, and just that feeling of excitement and hope that it always brings!

Spring is my favorite season, of all time. There is nothing like the snow melting, flip flops, a fresh spring dress, and the smell in the air when the flowers start to bloom. I love running, biking, walking, and hiking outside! And NOT HAVING TO WEAR PANTS

Hey there! Just stumbled upon your site, and boy did it ever come at the right time for me! I added your posts to my feed… so I’ll be around! <3

This post has managed to make me even MORE excited for spring! 😀 Even though it means the start of exams (boo!) it also means the start of a 4 months summer at home!

I also love how flowers start to bloom, being able to run outside again, and the warm feeling of the sun on my skin. <3

My favorite thing is the temperature and sun combo. I am fair skinned and get burned really easily not to mention sun poisoning too when exposed to hot sun for long amounts of time. So spring is my time to sit out and enjoy the sunshine without fear of getting sick and hurt after.

Well said! Spring reminds me of birthdays (yay for March babies!) and picnics, but also sunshine and hope for the end of the semester! :) Thank you for a lovely post. Sometimes beautiful pictures are what a girl needs…

I kind of hate spring (rainy and cold a lot of the time + the end of ski season), but I couldn’t help but smile a little when I noticed for the first time today that the buds had appeared on the Maple outside our living room window. There is hope!

Hey Gracie. I am a sophomore in college, and I just have to say I love the fact that you don’t hide your faith, even though not everyone holds the same beliefs. It is pretty much impossible to please everyone. I am getting baptized this Sunday, and life is so much better with a little faith. Thanks for the amazing posts!

Shape here is not only girl’s thing but boys are also abundantly dressed up. They mostly make straight up like male models from magazine as well. It’s a service turn|kind office|benefit} for a guy because they can have heaps of comely outfits and don’t be accused for that as they might have if they have life in some other countries. Whether they are big sunglasses, unclouded-leather shoes or brand name bags, Hong Kong guys go for it all.
