Guess whose coming to visit? My college roombuds! 
You can so tell we’re in college there, can’t you? ha.
Chrissy and Nicole have yet to see my new place, so I’m thrilled that they’re coming up. We also all have a pretty crazy year ahead of us with jobs, moving, and weddings (I’m in both of theirs!), so the time together is much needed.
I woke up this morning and did what all intelligent hosts would do: clean the (slightly disgusting) apartment.
Since I can’t remember the last time I went to the grocery store, I decided that now was a good time to stock up a bit.
And, for future reference, house guests love walking into a home that smells like cookies
(Chocolate Hazelnut Oatmeal Cookies, to be precise.)

I think I freak out more when I’m the house guest than when I’m the host. I feel more pressure trying to be a good house guest… when to wake up… how i can help… etc. I probably have more fun with it when I’m the host with decorating, cleaning, etc. Have a great weekend!
I prefer to be the host. I always feel weird staying in other people’s houses and I love to entertain! Those cookies look delish!
Oooh, the clean before guests arrive. I always feel stressed, and annoyed that I didn’t keep things more clean all along the way. I hope you have a great weekend with your roomies!
I love being a host because I know what my role is. When I visit a friend or family I always feel there is something I should be doing

I think it said something like “refrigerate for best taste,” so I did!
I LOVE being a host!!!! I love all the work that goes into it, I love spending the $ on food and other things…. And when I have guests, it FORCES me to CLEAN EVERYTHING. And it feels so good when it’s done. Speaking of… I should probably have some people over or something, my apt looks like a tornado just left!! Happy Day!

I love to have people over to cook for and for parties, but when it comes to house guests I like being the houseguest and not having to worry about anything! Have a fun weekend

Sounds fun!! I like being the host because it’s fun to plan things, but I also like being the guest because it’s nice to not have to clean my dirty apartment in order to have a good time
a friend of mine always keeps homemade cookie dough in her fridge so she can pop it in the oven when visitors stop by. obviously, i try to stop by often
that is genius!!!
