quirk it out.

I’m pretty sure I’m not alone when I say that I have my fair share of quirky characteristics.

And when I say quirky, I actually mean bizarre, borderline-OCD behaviors.

But for the sake of humoring you…and maybe helping you realize that you’re not so crazy after all…here are a few of my quirks.

I carry eye drops around with me at all times. The blame falls on my wretched allergies (which, yes – I am going to continue complaining about them for the rest of my life, so get used to it).

To me, “neat” often means messy organization. i.e. I’ll throw random things in a box/container, stick them in a corner, and call it a day.

Similarly, I give things spots – even if it’s just sitting out somewhere. Like this Adora disk, which has been sitting on the same spot on my kitchen counter for almost 2 months.

I am physically incapable of not eating at least 2 spoonfuls of nut butter after every meal. These photos was taken 24 hours after the jar was bought:

Sometimes, I pre-paste my toothbrush. This one is just too crazy for me to even come up with an explanation for. So I blame my mom.

I always sleep with a flashlight next to me in preparation for the one night a year that the electricity will go out.

I have trouble deleting photos of a delicious meal and hope that the opportunity will eventually arise where I can post it on my blog. Like right now. Score.

(That would be a strawberry + almond + Nutella crepe from Creperie Beaumonde in Philadelphia, taken in December.)
