Spoiled suburban girl confession: I can count on one hand the times I’ve had to clean snow off my car.
So when I could barely even find my car this morning, I knew that immediate action had to take place. I wasn’t about to let the 12-18 inch layer of snow turn into ice.
It was sort of fun.
Really, it was.
I did say I wanted to learn and experience stuff for myself, right?
At least my car looks outstanding.

Haha! I look like that when I’m done shovelling my driveway. Call me crazy, but I actually like shovelling. I don’t know why, maybe because it doubles as a killer workout?
UM HI, WE’RE TWINS. xoxoxo
I just spent a solid 1.5 hours shoveling out my car as well as the sidewalk (Im in Boston). It doesnt matter how good of shape you are in or think you are in, shoveling is soo hard! Especially with the wet snow we are getting up this way. Im pretty sure my biceps have doubled in size this morning.
We used to have to do that in Ohio and I would be so frozen and tired by the end I wanted to go back to bed!
As long as it’s not too cold out, I kinda like shoveling too! It’s refreshing to get my heart pumping in the crisp winter air!
Haha! That is def a perk of living at home, or having brothers… sorry you had to shovel!
Ah, city living. The best is when there’s a two-inch layer of ice hiding under that foot of snow.
meh! daily occurance in Minnesota!
GETMEOUTTAHERE!
Yeah my dad usually cleans my car off when I’m home but when I’m out at school I have to do it myself. I admit I’m spoiled!
Hilarious! It sucks, doesn’t it? I spent 40 minutes outside yesterday chopping ice chunks off my windshield. My icescraper thingy is now broken. And it’s only Jan… we still have Feb left! Looks like I need to invest in another (stronger!) one… sad. I want spring!
Also! Wanted to let you know that i tagged you with a Stylish Blogger Award on my blog. I’m afraid to put the website because I don’t want this to be spam, but I just wanted to let you know!
Have a great day!
I love that face. I don’t know what it’s like to not clean off the car so I appreciate seeing how others find it.
It can be a great way to wake up in the a.m. that’s for sure!
I’m so glad we just got a dusting of snow and the storm completely skipped us. Also, having a garage is awesome, just saying
I had to clean snow off my car this morning too. Since I moved from the Chicago area to NC a few years ago, I no longer own a scraper so I was out there with my broom and dustpan scraping off my car this morning. I’m sure I looked like a moron!:(
Ugh, cleaning off the car is the worst. And it is definitely a workout. Especially when said car is buried under 3 feet of snow!!!
hehe, I love that photo.. if it was me, there would be a little word bubble that says ‘are you f*&^%’in kidding me?!’
at least its a good workout, right? I don’t miss the says of having to clean off my car when I lived in an apartment though!
