Today was a good day. Great, in fact.
I haven’t done a full day’s recap in a while, so here ‘goes!
I “slept in” this morning by waking up around 7:15. After spending about an hour doing blog-related stuff, I headed to work in a lazy comfy outfit (perk #56 of working for the family business).

Work took up most of my morning, which I didn’t mind because I knew I had an exciting lunch break to look forward to. Would you believe me if I said it was my first time having authentic Indian food? Well…authentic Indian takeout

Thanks to my responsive Twitter babes, I decided on getting Chana Masala. With rice and (triple the amount of) naan, I think I finally know what the Indian food obsession is all about.
After catching up on some more work, it was time to decorate the office. Enter: another first….my first time decorating a real Christmas tree!

When I arrived home from work later in the afternoon, I quickly changed into my workout gear for a virtual training session with Nicole.
Side note: have I mentioned that Nicole and her boyfriend Shaun will be the future parents of Silas and Lucy?! Hooray
Our session was butt-kicking, as usual. I was a sweaty mess (in case you were wondering), so I took a quick shower and put on my Tuesday’s best.
Then, it was off to a Sixers game with my pops and sister. Despite living in the Philadelphia area all my life, I’ve never been to a 76er’s game. We had a blast.

I finally arrived home around 10pm, perfectly exhausted and pleased with the day behind me. Time for bed!. Ta ta, sweet ones. xoxo G
- What’s your favorite sporting event to attend?
- Now that I’m no longer an Indian food virgin, what should I order next time??

korma, i love korma!
Vegetable Jalfrezi is delicious if you like spice! Paleek paneer is also very yummy. Ooo and vegetable tandoori! I love Indian food.
Vegetable Korma and veggie samosas are two of my favorites. But the best way to try Indian? Buffet!! (granted you have a good one in the area) That way you get to try everything, and it’s all delicious!
Ohhhh buffet…I like the way you think
I’ve only had Indian food twice (just within the last two months, too). I always go to a buffet, so I can try different things. Unfortunately, because of that, I have no idea what the curries I like are called.
Your tree is so pretty!
That sounds like a perfect day! I’ve only been to one Bulls game - I’m pretty sure it was when I was a senior in high school. I love watching football though!
Fresh naan is the best. I could leave the rice but never the naan. Try baigan bharta sometime, it’s a delicious smoked eggplant dish.
ohh, that does sound good! I love eggplant. Thanks for the suggestion!
Chana Masala is yum! I love peshwari naan too!
Sounds like a fantastic day to me!!
Love your lazy girl’s outfit. I love my sweater knit Uggs
Naan is Godly food, is it not? Try roti as well…it’s the whole-wheat version that’s just as tasty. And I LOVE baigan bharta!
I’ve always wanted to try Indian food! I’m nervous to try it but Chana Masala looks great! I really want to try nann bread! I’ve heard only good things about it. I’ve never been to a Sixers game either. I’m going to one next weekend. I’m pretty excited! I like going to Phillies games. They are fun!
Mmm my favorite is saag - it’s spinach-based and delicious!! I love going to basketball games. No one seems to like the Knicks but I don’t care if the team is good or not, I just want to go see a game! Hockey is fun too!
I’m still an Indian food virgin. I’ll admit, I’m a bit scared.
You’ve never decorated a real Christmas tree?!? Whaaaaaat?? So glad you have now! The smell cannot be beat.
Favorite sport to see is actually basketball. I love the atmosphere.
Favourite indian food - Sag Aloo and Aloo Gobi.
That Channa Masala looks great though!
I like Chicken Tikka Masala
Real Xmas trees are the best
Love NBA games because tall boys are HOT!
I love chana masala the most, but vegetable korma is a close second.
Fave sporting event is definitely college football! But I’d love to go to an NFL game one of these days. And we just got an NBA team in OKC so that’s pretty fun also.
I love Chana Masala and Tika Masala!! I am totally a part of the Indian food obsession!
I like to attend hockey games! I’ve never been big on basketball .
Eggplant! Bagainn ( however you spell it) I am an awesome Indian!
I’m actually still an Indian food virgin! My tastebuds can’t handle overly spicy food, so I’m scared to try it!
i LOVE indian food. my favorite is mutter mushroom (mushrooms & peas in curry sauce) and anything eggplant!
How fun! I love sixers games, but my family goes t a lot of phillies and eagles games. Anything in the Wells Fargo center is nice though because you at least know you’ll be indoors! I didn’t know you were from the Philadelphia area!
Palak chole and mango lasse. Any lasse, actually.
My entire family being from Pittsburgh, we’re HUGE Steelers fans! Nothing beats a Steelers game
I would have to say football games are my favorite sporting events to attend, with basketball being a close second. Go Magic!
