Aww, that sucks! Do you have a reliable shoe repair place?
I have at least 4 paris of stilettos / boots that are in need of repair, but haven’t found a good spot in my city. I wonder if there’s an online place that you could ship stuff to?

I’d say three years is pretty good!
One time I bought boots and they only lasted me for three months!
I suppose that is what i get for going on rainy walks in them.

Sometimes when I need to rationalize, I’ll count how many wears I had over 3 years and then divide that into the cost. Often times it’s less than $1 per wear =)

Seriously. Please stop the one armed self portraits that are CLEARLY prepped for (ie: hair and makeup) but are *suppose* to look spontaneous. And the videos! What is it? Do you seriously like to look at/watch yourself THAT much? I can’t bear to sit through 2 seconds of those.
Hey Christina! You’re right - my self photos are not spontaneous. They are taken specifically for my blog posts, and I have no shame in admitting it! As a blog reader, I personally enjoy when bloggers post photos of themselves, which is why I do so myself. I didn’t, however, “prep” myself for them. I took those photos before I left for work.
And as far as the videos - my friend Emily approached me asking if I’d like to team up with her to make a YouTube channel. I’m sorry to hear that you don’t like them, but a lot of people do! Making videos is fun - as is blogging - which is why I do both. Thanks for reading - and take care!

Aww that stinks at least they lasted 3 yrs for ya, I’m sure you had some good times in them while breaking them in. It’s time for me to purchase some new leather boots, mine our 2 yrs and uhhh are gettin pretty bad. If you come across any good deals let me know!
$50 for 3 years sounds pretty good to me, especially if they’re real leather! One of my favourite pairs of boots last year broke after only 5 months. I guess it was because I bought them from a cheap store for only $30.
i’d suggest glue
yep - my dad is going to use “gorilla glue,” which is supposedly crazy strong. I tried to use tape temporarily since I didn’t have access to glue - thought it’d be better than nothing! Clearly it wasn’t, ha
Oh no! Though 3 years at $50 — that’s a deal! I’d use glue too. Heck I had to emergency scotch tape a hem of a pencil skirt last week at work. Made a little rustle sound occasionally but still looked good. And I love the self-portraits.

That stinks. But a good cobbler will only charge you $10 for new soles so it is still an awesome bargain!

I love ebay for shoe shopping, I’ve gotten three pairs from there. At least you got good usage out of them
Haha, I know what you mean. For example, I found a large hole in the shirt I was wearing yesterday that I’d purchased from a discount place. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve worn this shirt. Or how many people saw the hole before I did. :-/
3 years is awesome for ebay boots. I am looking for boots right now. Is that a good place to shop for them?
