a tribute to scones.

Till now, I always got by on my own.

I never really cared until I met you.

And now it chills me to the bone.

How do I get you alone a scone?

Yes, I just sang a love song to scones. Don’t hate.

And yes, I also ate an entire batch of Jenna’s Fifteen Minute Oatmeal Scones today.

At first I thought – a sugar-less scone? It didn’t seem to make sense. But it worked…it really, really worked.

Make these. Eat them with soup, dip them in coffee, and top them with macadamia butter. K? K.

I must say, I’m not much of a scone person- but your solo cookie from the last post looks like just my style!! And of course, I love scones with tea services. Because who doesn’t like pretending to be British royalty??

I love scones, but the kind you get at high tea. The ones from Starbucks and Panera make my mouth dry in a weird way. I can’t explain it. I love when scones are dry and crumbly and I can eat them with jam and clotted cream. Mmm.

Hmmm. Those scones look amazing and totally friendly for someone who has IBS (like me!). We love oats. Can’t wait to make them and melt a piece of dark chocolate on top (in the microwave). Thanks for sharing your scone love!!!
