Me and trains…we’re not the best of friends.
Tell me to go to the airport, and I’ll be there 2+ hours early.
Tell me to go to the train station, and I can assure you I will be running around like a chicken with its head cut off.
Despite my intention to get to the train station at least 20 minutes early, everything that could go wrong…did.
But let’s be honest here. It was all my fault. I lolly-gagged around the house for far too long.
I ate.
plain Greek yogurt, oats, banana, chia seeds, Cacao Bliss, White Chocolate Wonderful.

I took way too long getting ready…and then wasted even more time documenting it.
I spent time putting together the essentials…
…instead of performing my daughterly duties.
After going to the wrong train station, deciding to stay there anyway, and wasting paying almost $20 to park my car…I proceeded to be quite the annoying train passenger.
I sprawled out my stuff like I owned the place.
I tried to sneak photos of myself. Keyword: tried.

I even spoke on the phone for about 5 minutes not caring who was listening - i.e. I performed one of my own biggest pet peeves.
So yes, I’m a bad traveler…for today, at least. No big deal.
My traveling woes all seemed to disappear when I finally spotted Gabriela amidst the little glimpse of heaven we call Penn Station. I’m quite sure it’s going to be a great 24 hours 
First stop: Candle 79 for some yummy vegan eats!

I love traveling on trains. They’re a good combo of a car and a plane smushed together. I always like to travel as simply as possible but it’s always so hectic getting everything together before a trip.
when we travel, it is usually by car. I will say that I always have to have a diet coke when traveling though.

I’ve had to block certain people’s status update feeds to avoid the urge to stalk them on FB…maybe I should delete my page too. Ha ha.
I accidentally hit people with my luggage in the train ( it’s so narrow) and because I was all flustered I said merci to them. When I should I have said excuse me. I am funny.
Did I mention I was in France?
I’ve never been on a train, so I can’t relate. But I am alwayssss so early for flights! I always think it’s going to take about 10 times longer to get through security than it actually does, so I always have a good 1-2 hours to kill.
If it means anything, your reasons for being late look great!

new york is so fun i love it there make sure to go to all the vegan bakerys and such have fun, its such a large and interesting place! breakfast looks so amazing! wow great combo, i love white chocolate wonderfull! have a great trip love <3

I have a pretty bad traveling story.. but it actually ending up being quite the amusing trip so I guess I can’t really classify it as bad anymore. Long story short, I drove all the way from the very west coast of BC to the middle of AB to work at a horse barn.. that turned out to be like a nightmare - very trailer trash and horrendous. I made the drive with my mom and we stayed about 1 hour before racing out of there like there was no tomorrow.
Hahha I love that you packed nail polish, I was waiting for you to say that you whipped it out on the train and did your nails, now that may have been a bad traveler ;)…

I once got on the wrong train and ended up going to a city three hours in the opposite direction of where I wanted to go. So what was supposed to be a 1.5 hour trip ended up being a 10 hour long day! Hahaha.

Hope y’all are having fun!! I have a ridiculous subway story when Billy and I were supposed to meet at a certain time on a specific platform and I messed the whole thing up and we were underground so no cell reception…and we were trying to get to JFK to catch a flight - it. was. awful. One of the most anxious moments of my life - and all my fault. Hahha. Funny in hindsight - traumatizing at the time.
