On Friday, two of my favorite people got married on the same beach where Parker proposed just a few months ago.
FYI - thanks to my friends and the wedding guests for the photos I used for this post, as I didn’t have my camera on me for most of Friday!
We arrived in Montauk on Thursday around noon, and right away started prepping for the next day. By the evening the entire bridal party had arrived, had a quick ceremony rehearsal, followed by a bonfire BBQ on the beach. It was the perfect way to relax, spend time with good friends, and celebrate Jessi and Parker before the big day.
And then there was Friday. The day went almost as flawlessly as a wedding day could – starting with getting all dolled up, then getting photos taken, the ceremony on the beach, and then the outdoor reception.
The night ended with another bonfire on the beach, for what turned out to be an incredible day from start to finish.
I was pretty exhausted on Saturday, but it still turned out to be a lovely day in Montauk. After breakfast in town, we headed to the beach to celebrate my lovely roomie/friend Trish’s birthday.

Later in the afternoon the girls and I headed back to the city. The normally boring ride home turned into an adventure of random stops and a detour to the cutest little ice cream parlor.
I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect weekend for my best friend to marry the man of her dreams!
And now, here we are on the first day of the best season, with so many exciting things on the horizon. I’m a happy girl

It sounds like a wonderful weekend! I love the bonfire idea…and I love that she ate pizza on her wedding day! I ate ice cream on mine, and I remember people saying that they thought it was so cool (apparently some brides don’t eat?).

The got permits for the beach and reception (reception was at Ocean Beach Resort, across street from beach). Montauk NY. Kirk Beach, I believe it’s called. Hope that helps!
