The end of my stay in Pennsylvania was just what the doctor ordered: R&R, shopping, and time with the family. Oh, and all’s well that ends with sushi.

I even found the time to try a Pinterest-inspired snack that I’ve been wanting to make for months - Cinnamon Honey Fried Bananas. They’re simpler and even more delicious than they look! Definitely a new go-to sweet snack/dessert.

This morning I hopped on a train back to the city…where I may or may not be writing most of this post from

Gorgeous view, isn’t…it…?
Yeahno.

The rest of my off-from-work day consisted of an allergy shot (glamorous, I know), errands, and packing for my mini vacation.

(…almost!)
Speaking of which, the point of this post is to let you know that I’ll most likely be back to regular blogging on Monday. Lugging my huge laptop with me just seemed incredibly unappealing. Woof.
BUT I’m sure I’ll be doing my thing on Twitter, Tumblr, and Instagram! So feel free to keep up with me if you so please
Enjoy the rest of your week, babes.
Have you tried a recipe found via Pinterest? Was it a success?

I love Pinterest recipes! I have had mostly successes but I have had a few really bad ones.
Check out this site dedicated to Pinterest creations that ended up being disasters. Thought you might find some amusing:)

I’m going to try those bananas! They look awesome! I’ve been pinning a lot of recipes lately but I haven’t tried many yet, haha
Have an awesome time in LA! Can’t wait to hear all about it
YES and have had many amazing results! I found your blog through your cake mix blondie recipe
and Two-ingredient ice cream: frozen bananas and peanut butter. I added cocoa powder and almond milk to it (cause I can’t ever leave a recipe alone) and it is like ice cream heaven!! and not bad for you at all
Enjoy your trip!
The sushi looks amazing! I’m so jealous!
I hope you enjoy your time in California!
Bring jeans and a sweater though because the weather has been pretty fickle. (It’s overcast and chilly where I am at the moment)
I just made a clean eating turkey chili I found on pinterest yesterday and it was amazing! My family loved it!
Avocado sushi rocks my world! Those banana nuggets also look fabulous.. if only my Grandma hadn’t put me off bananas for life when I was younger
Perhaps these will convert me back to a banana-lover though!
YAY! Have an awesome time in LA! If you happen to have any free time while you’re here, feel free to send me a message on Twitter (@missemmmysue)! I’d love to grab coffee or something!
And PS: I was dying over those bananas when I saw them on instagram. Planning to try out the recipe tonight! <3
